The Localization Program Manager will play a key role in supporting the localization function within the Customer Success & Enablement team. You will manage the end-to-end localization process supporting the Zoom Learning Center and Customer Success enablement initiatives. Your projects often span offices, time zones and hemispheres, and it's your role to keep all the players coordinated on project progress and deadlines. Using your influencing and relationship-building skills, you will provide strategic insight to cross-functional teams and leadership to drive Zoom’s product expansion globally. This person is meticulously organized, an excellent communicator, and excels at supporting multiple localization work streams and projects simultaneously. Exceptional candidates have experience with project management tools like Asana and experience with computer-assisted translation and translation management tools.

Responsibilities

  • Lead and manage end-to-end localization projects, working closely with customer success, product management, and localization resource teams. 

  • Plan and manage localization schedules for multiple projects at a time, collaborate cross-functionally to define requirements and manage timelines. Provide reference material, training and support for internal and vendor localizers.

  • Shape the creation and drive the execution of Product and Launch readiness practices that include localization upstream across the company.

  • Design and implement efficient and scalable end-to-end localization frameworks for multiple products and diverse content types.

  • Drive initiatives to foster innovation in the team on strategic areas such as internationalization, data, localization testing, quality, tools, training and process optimization.

  • Analyze current pain points in workflows and tools, provide recommendations and implement scalable solutions.

  • Analyze operational data sets and create dashboards that can be used to make business decisions.

  • Be a champion for translation and localization best practices with developer and key stakeholders throughout the organization

Qualifications

  • Bachelor's Degree

  • 5+ years of professional working experience with localization specifically for training and certification, marketing

  • 3+ years of relevant work experience in software localization.

  • 2+ years of relevant experience in at least one translation system.

  • Deep analytical and problem solving experience, combined with excellent business judgment and an ability to present to senior decision makers in a clear and compelling manner.

  • Knowledge of Localization operations and best practices.

  • Ability to operate with minimal guidance in a fast-paced, ambiguous, and global environment with success in project management.

  • Ability to adapt your message to the technical level of the audience and comfort presenting data-driven materials to groups of any size, background and level.

  • Excellent consulting, client-facing and organizational skills, and/or demonstrated ability to deliver strategic plans in collaboration with stakeholders.
