Overview:
 
The Localization team’s mission at Alteryx is to ensure that our platform and supporting documentation looks and sounds natural to users in their own countries. We are a group of passionate and motivated people from all over the world who excel in a fast-paced, culturally diverse environment. We work cross-functionally with Product Management and Product Development to help educate and provide guidance on our internationalization and localization processes, making sure we have a successful launch in all our supported international markets.

Responsibilities: 

  • Act as the main point of contact for Product Managers and Development Team Leads on localization needs and requirements while representing the voices of our global users
  • Work closely with the team of linguistic testers and provide support with their QA responsibilities
  • Ensure that the automated localization process runs smoothly, implementing improvements as needed
  • Partner with cross-functional stakeholders in Marketing, Sales and Community to understand business needs and set up localization requirements for a successful product launch
  • Actively manage our translation vendor(s) and monitor all Product-related projects, ensuring timely deliveries with high-quality translations

Qualifications:

  • BA or equivalent required (preferably in translation, linguistic, or related field);
  • 3+ years of Localization program management experience, working with cross-functional teams
  • Technical background; strong experience with scaled enterprise level software is a huge plus
  • Cross-functional experience working with software engineers and product teams preferred
  • Strong project management, interpersonal, analytical, problem solving, and verbal/written communication skills with the ability to build strong relationships across organizational teams
  • Culturally savvy with a good sense of judgment on the appropriateness of content for the target country audience
  • Fluency in more than one language is preferred
