Large Project - Project Coordinator

Position Description
An effective Project Coordinator within the Large Project Implementation team should be proficient in navigating SiteTracker, Salesforce and Excel. In addition, the Project Coordinator will be responsible for supporting Project Managers who oversee multiple Large Projects across accounts (FTT), Markets and Technologies (Dark Fiber and Lit services).
These projects may leverage Zayo’s existing fiber plant but also include extensive new Outside Plant (OSP) network construction to deliver fiber connectivity. New OSP construction activities include design, engineering, permitting, construction, splice and test of new fiber spans. Lit projects will also include the deployment and commissioning of electronics to core node and end user locations in order to deliver service.
An ability to understand complex system dependencies and make decisions based on Product Management rules is essential. The position requires strong attention to detail. Personal communication skills are critical, as this role demands constant interaction across various teams including business development, sales, finance and outside plant/field operations. An individual with a hunger to solve problems and improve operational performance will excel in this role.
Responsibilities
Validate Service Order Details, including contract details, as part of the acceptance process.
Assist in project set up, tracking and reporting from project inception to project end
Engage and notify internal team members of new orders as well as driving service order tasks to completion
Responsible for overall service order management including but not limited to due date diligence, FOC setting, component management/updates, internal order creation, daily order queue management
Responsible for all close out processes and documentation associated with deliveries including but not limited to compiling test data, KMZ, Network Diagrams, site photos, as well as closing out all appropriate orders in Salesforce and SiteTracker.
Key point of contact, alongside Project Manager, for communicating project status and program needs both internally and to the customer.
Manage calls with customers to validate RR dates, cancellation, and deselect requests.
Manage and maintain data accuracy in project tracking tools to include Excel, PowerPoint, SiteTracker and Salesforce.
Assist in daily/weekly collaboration with cross functional teams tied to Large Projects key milestones
Interact directly with internal and external teams to provide direction and updates for project goals and milestones, and identify and track program work-arounds and alternative plans to adjust roadblocks
Produce various reports for project implementation and customer service management along with clear documentation on how the report is created
Resolve issues effectively; seeing real problems in order to call out the problems and solving the problems in a practical and healthy manner
Ability to organize and prioritize tasks throughout various projects to ensure a quality finished product
Document processes and procedures
Other duties as assigned.
Qualifications
Undergraduate degree in Business, Finance, Economics or other degree requiring analytical aptitude or equivalent relevant work experience.
3-5 years of product, project management, software development, and/or technology analyst experience preferred.
Ability to communicate effectively with a variety of functional teams, and strong interpersonal skills for supporting and advising sales teams on proper systems and processes.
Proficiency in the MS Office suite of tools with emphasis on Excel and PowerPoint is required. Knowledge of Salesforce.com platform is a plus.
Strong attention to detail, superb organizational skills, and ability to multitask and prioritize.
Ability to work across functional boundaries.
Ability to solve practical problems and deal with a number of variables in dynamic situations.
Ability to interpret a variety of instructions furnished in written, oral, diagram, or schedule form.
Ability to view issues and concerns from multiple perspectives, and to keep the “big picture” in focus.
CO pay range: $58,100-$81,270
