Project Coordinator

SecondPhase is currently looking for a Jr Level Software Project Coordinator to join our growing team. The ideal candidate has experience working directly with software customers, gathering software technical specifications, coordinating efforts of competing development resources, and providing regular status updates to ensure on time delivery.  Only candidates with software project management skills should apply.

Company Description

Second Phase is a local web development company (awarded 3rd fastest growing company in Boulder County, 2 of the last 3 years) in the B2B e-commerce space. We are located in west Boulder with Boulder Creek, hiking and biking trails just outside our doors.

Position Description

The Project Coordinator is both the internal and external interface for the successful implementation of web development projects, and the coordination of existing customer enhancement projects. The PC proactively manages milestones and communicates with our customers throughout the project timeline to ensure that expectations are managed and deadlines are met. The PC interacts internally with resources to scope requirements, identify risks and track status; externally, the PC communicates with customers to share status, manage risks and schedule timelines. The PC works with manager in reviewing status of projects, to identify conflict resolutions, managing budgets, schedules and preparing status reports.

Responsibilities

  • Lead implementation projects, including establishing timelines, managing scope and identifying milestones in an effort to ensure an effortless delivery experience.
  • Produce and manage various reports for project implementation and customer service management.
  • Create Scope of Work documents which include relevant topics tailored to the customers’ requirements.
  • Organize and coordinate internal resources for the timely and effortless resolution of customer projects.
  • Develop a strong business relationship with all supported customers.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree (B.A.) from four-year college, plus two years of customer service experience; or equivalent combination of education and experience.
  • Ability to schedule and manage customer meetings to address customer needs.
  • Client Management or Project Coordinating experience greater than 1 year.
  • Strong customer service experience.
  • Strong ability to problem-solve and follow process to reduce time between implementation and delivery.
  • Highly detail oriented, fast learner, ability to adapt and thrive in an ever changing environment.
  • Ability to multi-task and manage competing requests in a professional manner.
  • Passion for customer service and delivering an effortless user experience.
  • Desire to understand process, identify improvements and implement change.
  • Understanding of web development process is a plus.
