Do you want to play a role in global commerce?

Prologis is seeking an IT Program Manager for the Agile PMO who will serve as a skilled delivery executioner utilizing your deep experience and broad toolkit in both traditional project management as we continue to transition to and fully adopt an Agile/SAFe methodology.

You will efficiently transition into several roles, as the need arises, to lead critical Program and Project management duties. In this role, the primary responsibilities will be to lead all teams and support our Agile transformation by guiding, training, and serving teams through effective application of Agile principles and frameworks. We are looking for a “go-to” person for all delivery leads and scrum masters. Further, you will be working as a key contributor and inspiring leader for utilizing and optimizing our delivery processes and toolsets to ensure they are being followed and kept up-to-date. Additionally, you will enable and lead multiple projects in a fast-paced and diverse environment through effective teamwork, facilitation, leadership, and mentorship. What’s needed in order to do that:

  • Build and maintain program and team level process documentation, standard methodologies, and metrics.
  • Supervise and enable across programs, dependency tracking and reporting.
  • Own the cross-capability “scrum-of-scrum” meetings for team and program representatives to discuss cross-team and program issues and share standard methodologies.
  • Assist with quarterly planning events and reporting.
  • Establish and communicate the annual calendars for iterations/sprints and quarterly planning dates.
  • Actively participate in the maturation process of the Agile model and methodology within the organization.
  • Perform as an internal consultant for other Prologis teams to address skillset or knowledge gaps with regard to project management as a whole and/or Agile (SAFe) delivery methodology concepts and toolkits.
  • Act as an Agile and SAFe change agent evangelizing and training the intricacies of these methodologies to drive a common understanding and vernacular.
  • Run (as needed) delivery of a wide array of projects from simple system upgrades to sophisticated global solutions utilizing appropriately matched project methodology and required toolkit(s).
  • Help prepare project proposals, timelines, and budget estimates.
  • Acquire initial project work estimates from all appropriate execution teams and ensure resource availability.
  • Participate in toolset evaluations and department roadmap discussions on an Ad Hoc basis.

  • Confirmed leader with vision to provide value in higher level strategic/roadmap discussions.
  • Calming presence and leader amid constantly evolving priorities and demands to deliver against results-oriented timelines.
  • 8-10 years’ experience as a Program/Project manager, with at least 3 of those years as a Scrum Master.
  • 5+ years’ experience leading technology initiatives.
  • Proven understanding of Agile and Scaled Agile Framework (SAFe) methodologies and techniques.
  • Proficient knowledge of Agile/DevOps/Program Management Lifecycle Methodologies & Standards.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication and analytical skills.
  • Experience working in a geographically distributed and culturally diverse work-group.
  • Knowledge and experience using Jira Align, Jira, Confluence, Apptio, MS Excel, PowerPoint, SharePoint, and Visio.
  • Shown ability to multitask, and reliably handle and prioritize time across contending activities and resources.
  • Confirmed ability to provide mentorship and guidance to team members.
  • Travel up to 10-15%.

Preferred Skills & Experience

  • Scrum Master Certification and/or Certified Scrum Product Owner preferred.
  • SAFe SPC certification preferred
  • Experience working with sales operations, property management, legal, marketing, and/or customer experience initiatives and leading globally distributed teams is a plus.

Target base compensation range of: $107,000 - $140,000, plus bonus target to be discussed during initial phone interview.
