Events Project Manager
Zoom is looking for an Events Project Manager. The Events Project Manager will join our existing team to help manage and support the growing demand for Event Support.
Responsibilities:
Responsible for coordinating all activities associated with the timely, accurate, and on-budget completion of the project, according to established project management procedures.
Create and customize documentation on a per project basis including signal flow, settings guides and email templates for messaging
Create scheduled Zoom meetings and/or webinars while managing pre-determined settings to match the customer’s use-case
Provides risk mitigation steps, risk impact, and escalation paths to the customer’s project team, department leadership, for clear process outputs from the risk register.
Manages project budget requirements and monitors internal/external project expenditures to ensure that both Zoom and customer responsibilities are fulfilled to ensure proper resource requirements, equipment, and site-readiness.
Works with cross-functional Zoom internal teams, such as Accounting, Sales, and Customer Support to ensure customer success.
Ensure that any scope, schedule, cost or change of terms are handled in accordance to stated change order procedures.
Consistently engage in self-learning and growth surrounding virtual events and Zoom
Requirements:
Minimum of a High School Diploma or equivalent required
Minimum of 5 years of audiovisual experience required.
Formal education in Media or related field preferred
Exceptional communication, organizational, and writing skills
Attention to detail, ability to prioritize work, and strong time management skills are required
Possess excellent verbal and written communication skills, including ability to present to customers and key decision makers.
Flexibility to adapt to a constantly changing schedule and environment with a positive attitude
