The Engineering Program Manager (EPM) will play a crucial role in orchestration and execution of the holistic product and technology roadmaps that the engineering team is responsible for. The EPM will work with the leadership to promote our culture of agility, operational rigor, visibility, accountability, and data-informed decisions.
The EPM Responsibilities

  • As the EPM, you will work with engineering leaders and project managers to make all engineering work visible and then report on them so we can a) easily and reliably understand how much effort goes into each project every week, b) understand the bottlenecks across different projects, c) understand dependencies across different teams.
  • You will work with engineering leaders and project managers to define and implement automation tools and processes to make engineering work measurable: from Jira to Jenkins, and from Git to PagerDuty.
  • You will track and report on high priority initiatives (budget, resources, timeline, scope) for the engineering leadership and the executive team, communicating their status and identifying obstacles
  • You will track and report on the Non Functional Requirements (NFR) and Run the Business (RTB) projects across different engineering teams, help prioritize them, and report on their progress.
  • Additionally, you will manage required reports like software capitalization and budget tracking.


The EPM Qualifications

  • BA/BS (Computer Science or equivalent preferred)
  • Scrum Certification is preferred
  • Experience and passion for project management in a DevOps environment.
  • 5+ years experience in managing large scale software product projects
  • Experience working with globally distributed engineering organization
  • Well-versed with collaboration tools, especially Jira and Confluence
  • Strong Excel skills
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills
  • Firm sense of accountability and ownership for end-to-end program life cycle

The salary range below describes the minimum to maximum base salary range for this position in the location listed. Non-sales positions have the opportunity to participate in a bonus program. Sales positions are eligible for sales incentives, and in some instances a bonus plan, whereby total compensation may far exceed base salary depending on individual performance. Actual compensation offered may vary from posted hiring range based upon geographic location, work experience, education, licensure requirements and/or skill level and will be finalized at the time of offer.
