Why this role?
As Development Manager - Content you'll manage a team of engineers engaged in building and maintaining Dice.com's CMS platform product and infrastructure. This team plays a critical role in executing Dice's content strategy to reach Technologists, providing an engaging and meaningful experience whether they are seeking that next role in their career or simply to level up and grow.
In this role, you'll be responsible for:
- Developing and leading technical content strategy with respect to integrated applications in coordination with other application teams
- Coordinating with Product and Marketing to execute on broader content strategy initiatives
- Researching the latest trends, strategies and emerging technologies for CMS platforms and provide technical vision
- Working with a team of software engineers to create the software designs and technical specs for the CMS platform
- Working with other application teams to plan integration and implementation strategies
- Leading, coaching, and mentoring team members. Encourage cross-functional training and facilitate information sharing among team members. Assist with management of team tasks, projects, and performance reviews
For this role, we're requiring:
Knowledge, Skills, Abilities
- Strong leadership, communication, problem-solving, organization skills and attention to detail
- Ability to work within an Agile project teams to successfully implement new business information systems
Education, Experience
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, MIS, or a related field or equivalent experience
- 7+ years of Software Development or related work experience
- 2+ years of content management platform experience (Hippo / Bloomreach or equivalent CMS preferred)
- 1+ years of leading a team of Engineers, preferably in the content management platform space
Compensation
Base salary/pay of $100,000 – $195,000 per year, plus 10% annual bonus at 100% of plan targets tied to company and individual performance. Offer will depend on location and level of job-related knowledge, skills, abilities and experience.
