The Business Ops. Program Manager will focus on multi-domain projects and support RingCentral’s scaling efforts in a high growth industry and improve operational effectiveness. Drive plans and execution with internal teams and external partners and guide projects through the entire project lifecycle. In this role, you will work collaboratively with cross-functional teams across time zones and ensure the geographically distributed teams are well aligned on delivery.
Responsibilities:
- Partner with RingCentral’s Alliance partner program managers to ensure GTM project goals are achieved. Closely coordinate project activities working lockstep with other program activities in Product, Engineering, Development, and Operational teams to meet launch milestones.
- Ensure all operational readiness are achieved while expanding new products and services to existing or new markets and countries. Build new capabilities in internal systems and with external partners. Onboard new distributors as required and/or build additional capabilities with existing distributors.
- Lead new distributor onboarding efforts including SKU setups, system integrations, end-to-end order to fulfillment and related processes are adequately setup. Drive operational setups with vendors including contract, pricing, reporting, billing, inventory, provisioning, fulfillment and support.
- Lead System Integrations projects closely working with Product and Engineering teams to integrate RingCentral API stack and Systems requirement with Partner Systems. Validate QTC considerations defined in IT projects supports operational requirements to provide best-in-class customer experience
- Drive integration and visibility of critical data within internal systems and with external partners. Work closely with internal stakeholder to assess reporting gaps and work with internal solutions providers and external partners to appropriately close gaps. Similarly, work on KPI projects and drive implementation and dashboard visibility to management.
- Work on Supply chain system projects including transformation projects to improve efficiency and effectiveness of Supply Chain and Channel Operations. Projects could vary widely with focus on Product, Platform, Process, Partner, or End Customers. Negotiate and reach across the organization and solicit required team engagements to meet solution needs.
- Work with marketing managers and develop marketing programs that ensure all operational aspects, including ordering, discounts and billing requirements are enabled to support campaign efforts.
- Drive Product Life Cycle improvement processes including design and implementation of returns/refurbishment programs across all Hardware products
- Assess, Define, and Create working groups as required with Product, Internal Support teams, Sales Ops, and Customer Service teams to drive customer success
- Be proficient in capturing business requirements from various stakeholders and translate it into a Business Requirement Document and execute with IT and Engineering groups.
- Manage systems implementation. Implement Demand Management and Supply Planning systems coordinating with internal IT and external partner teams to integrate data flow to improve sales forecasting and provide near real time visibility of distributor stock positions and shipments.
- Providing regular status reports for executives and key stakeholders. Provide findings and compelling data to leadership and to cross-functional stakeholders and influence leads to take actions on findings.
- Serve as bridge between Supply Chain and adjacent processes in the end-to-end quote to cash cycle and drive solutions that streamline the overall workflow and improve operational excellence.
- Ensure adequate process documentation/training material are in place and partner with relevant functional owners to develop required materials
Qualifications:
- Program manager with 7+ years of experience. PMP certification preferred but not required
- 3+ years’ experience in SaaS industry. Hardware experience preferred.
- BA/BS degree in operations, engineering, science, technology, business or similar or equivalent blend of work.
- Demonstrated experience leading complex multi-disciplinary projects including in Supply Chain, Product management, Go-To-Market (GTM), System Integration, Quote-to-Cash (QTC), and Partner Onboarding
- Can support projects across different technologies, processes and functional areas.
- Strong process analysis and systems thinking skills. Adept at both quantitative and qualitative information.
- Well versed in process mapping, value stream mapping, swim lanes and similar visual representations
- Self-starter with a high degree of organization skills. Comfortable with ambiguity and possess passion to establish structure and deliver results.
- Excellent facilitation and situational awareness skills.
