Summary of What We're Looking For

The Associate Solutions Architect directly interfaces with customers to listen, gather and confirm customer requirements for contracted services. The Associate Solutions Architect primarily operates in a remote capacity but at times can function as an onsite resource. They will work closely with Solutions Architects and Senior Solutions Architects as well as customers to accomplish the needs for the assigned project. The Associate Solutions Architect will also interact with internal teams from Client Services, Sales, Product Development, and Customer Success. This role plays a vital part in ensuring a successful delivery of the assigned project and at times will be tasked with the ability to act as a project manager when an Onboarding Project Manager is not assigned. This role also requires the ability to potentially lead projects to meet the needs and demands of the business.

What You'll Do

Solutions Development: The Associate Solutions Architect interacts with customers to determine their needs and develops solutions with current Workiva products to meet those needs

  • Consults with customers to determine their challenges and requirements

  • Creates custom solutions for assigned customer projects

  • Provides project and relationship management based on the needs of the task assigned

  • Collects feedback and learnings from delivered services to share experience internally for the consideration of packaged offerings, inclusive of involvement in meetings with Sales, Product Marketing, and Product Development

  • Strong knowledge of Workiva products through a commitment to ongoing training

What You'll Need

Education

  • Undergraduate Degree or equivalent combination of education and experience in a related field.

Skills

  • Fluent in general computer technology and software skills including document, presentation, database, and spreadsheet functionality. Familiarity with complex formulas within a spreadsheet environment preferred.

  • Mastered knowledge of the Workiva platform functionality and capabilities

  • Proven problem solving skills and business acumen

  • Ability to thrive in a dynamic, fast-paced environment, successfully multi-tasking and determining priorities to meet deadlines

  • Detail-oriented and organized

  • Self-motivated and able to work autonomously

  • Strong presentation and phone skills

  • Proven success with customer service

  • Excellent communication skills (written, verbal, and listening)

Experience

  • Excellent time management, prioritization, and communication skills

  • Demonstrated ability to recommend solutions, take direction, and collaborate within a team environment

  • Experience in consulting and project management roles with a focus on process improvement

  • 1+ years of experience in related field

Travel Requirements

  • Requires 25-50% travel to meet with customers, attend trade shows, and participate in internal meetings

Working Conditions & Physical Requirements

  • Reliable internet access for any period of time working remotely, not in a Workiva office.

How You'll Be Rewarded

  • Base Pay Range in Colorado: $53,000 - $72,000

  • A discretionary bonus typically paid annually

  • Restricted Stock Units granted at time of hire

The base pay range represents the low and high end of the hiring range for this job. Actual pay will vary and may be above or below the range based on various factors including but not limited to relevant skills, experience, and capabilities.
