WHAT YOU WILL BE DOING?
You will be a Digital One Scrum Master, leading our SAFe Agile teams throughout the software development lifecycle. You will be the heart of our team, providing process for the team to achieve their best results. You will help alleviate impediments, track development progress and report weekly team status. You will be working closely with development team, product owner, QA and RTE to coordinate mobile releases.

  • FIS is looking for an Agile Scrum Master to join our matrix organization.
  • This role will act as a servant leader for Digital One team, driving process improvements on the journey to a financial industry.
  • Planning and coordinating all aspects of a given technical project from initiation through delivery.
  • Facilitates Scrum events andand implement Scrum practices.
  • Act as a change agent that increases the productivity of the team.
  • Lead and coach the organization in successful Scrum adoption.
  • Take part in planning Scrum implementations within the organization.
  • Work with other Scrum Masters to increase the effectiveness of the application of Scrum in the organization.
  • Ensure goals, scope and product domain etc. are understood by every member in the Scrum Team properly.
  • Impart the understanding of SAFe PI planning in an empirical environment.
  • Understanding and practicing agility, developing, defining and executing project plans, project scope, activities, schedules and deliverables.
  • Manages team risks, issues/problems and activity progress to ensure project goals, e.g., deadline, scope and quality are achieved. Assists with problem resolution or risk mitigation as needed.

  • Leads team efforts in relentless improvement
  • Promotes SAFe quality practices
  • Facilitates preparation and readiness for ART events
  • Coordinates with other teams


WHAT YOU BRING:

  • The ideal candidate will have strong technical acumen, the ability to partner and effectively communicate with other business leaders, and experience working on large, complex development projects.
  • You are very organized and detail-oriented; able to work with shifting priorities
  • You love analyzing issues and devising efficiencies

  • Experience working an Agile environment
  • Extensive knowledge of project management standards, processes, procedures and guidelines
  • Excellent analysis, problem-solving, team, conflict management and time management skills
  • Ability to set clear expectations, manage team performance and build high morale among team members


ADDED BONUS IF YOU HAVE:

  • Financial or Financial Technology industry experience
  • Experience in organizational change management and driving transformation
  • SAFe Scrum Master certification
  • Experience working with a mobile team
  • Knowledge of various types of IT project methodologies and life cycle.
