ABOUT THE POSITION
The Agile Program Coach which is "embedded" within FIS would focus on serving at the SAFe Program levels to a align trains, development managers, business, and product with the shift our culture and processes to consistent methodologies and frameworks as we evolve our approach to Agility. Serve as Mentor, coach, and trainer for the ART while adapting approach based on trains maturity. This is a Mid-level position.
WHAT YOU BRING
Experience of working in a SAFe agile development environment
Strong analytical skills
Ability to manage multiple projects at a time
Experience of working with offshore delivery teams
Requires general business skills, industry knowledge, financial management and planning skills, long-term vision and executive presence
Effective presentation and interpersonal skills
Knowledge of financial services industry and associated products
Excellent skills in communicating ideas both verbally and in written form in a clear, concise and professional manner
Ability to utilize judgment in decision making process and decisions related to job tasks
Ability to communicate effectively with all levels of management in an organized, professional manner
Team skills, including ability to establish and maintain effective working relationships with all levels within organization, internally and externally
Requires strong time management skills, attention to detail and must be resourceful
Analytical, problem solving skills
At least 5 years’ experience in coaching, team building and group facilitation
At least 5 years’ experience in Scrum, SAFE, DevOps, Kanban, Lean and of Systems Thinking
Must Have SPC (Required)
WHAT YOU WILL BE DOING
Regularly assessing Trains and Teams’ Agile maturity for coaching and identify areas of improvement
Being the Agile Coach for all members of the train and individual role players (Product Manager, Product Owner, RTE, dev managers, business enablement, etc) towards improving Agile methodology and metrics
Facilitate value streams workshops and launch ARTs
Experience in Rally
Develop and guide Team coaches on continuous improvement
Working with multiple teams, engaging with Program Managers, Product Owners, and team members to help build and reinforce the Agile mindset and to embed Agile principles in the day-to-day work
Create coaching plan around program level area of improvement
Identify KPIs (qualitative and quantitative) for the ART to improve and associated to coaching plan Acceptance criteria
Be an active member of the coaching community within FIS (coaching cop, enterprise workshop hours and lean agile forums)
Continuously develop potential and existing team coaches
Provide conflict management for the program level
Guide train though PI planning and continuous improvement
Support in Strategy objectives for the organization
