The Role
The Project Manager will provide critical support for Fidelity’s large-scale cross-enterprise initiatives including navigating the rapidly evolving space of AI governance and AI risk management. This role requires strong project management and organizational skills, an understanding of or interest in emerging AI risks, and the ability to coordinate cross-functional teams including Legal, Risk, Compliance, Technology, and Business stakeholders. Your typical day might include:
Program & Project Management: Organizing workstreams, setting agendas, tracking progress, and managing milestones and deliverables.
Stakeholder Engagement: Collaborating with subject matter experts to resolve complex issues and to ensure alignment across teams.
Legal, Risk & Compliance Support: Providing project management support for initiatives involving coordination across Legal, Risk, and Compliance, Technology and Business partners.
AI Risk Framework Enhancements: Supporting enhancements to Fidelity’s AI risk management framework and governance processes.
Visual Storytelling: Rapidly translating complex ideas into compelling PowerPoint presentations for executive audiences.
The Expertise and Skills You Bring
Bachelor’s degree is required
2-5+ years of experience in product or project management, preferably in legal, risk, compliance, or technology domains.
Relationship building, networking, and organizational navigation will be key to successfully supporting cross-LRC strategic initiatives
Strong knowledge of project management methodologies
Given the significant exposure to senior management across LRC, technology and our business partners, a high degree of executive presence is required for this role
Ability to develop an understanding of complex and new subject areas quickly
Skilled in synthesizing complicated ideas into easy-to-understand materials, including delivery of executive-level presentations to senior management
Comfortable taking direction from multiple leaders, open to constructive feedback, and working independently and with ambiguity
Exceptional analytical, conceptual thinking, and problem-solving capabilities
Ability to function in a fast-paced, dynamic environment and employ sound judgment
Ability to influence leadership through personal interactions, as well as the creation and delivery of persuasive presentations
Strong communication skills (i.e. anticipate changes, make inferences, adapt your communication to a wide range of different audiences)

The Team
The Corporate Risk Management team supports several aspects of Fidelity’s Risk Management Programs. The team engages with our business partners across Fidelity in a variety of ways, including assessing risks associated with emerging technologies, project management, risk reporting, data analytics/aggregation, supporting initiatives to further strengthen Fidelity’s control environment, and implementing new programs to further protect Fidelity and our customers.
The base salary range for this position is $74,000-141,000 USD per year.Placement in the range will vary based on job responsibilities and scope, geographic location, candidate’s relevant experience, and other factors.
Base salary is only part of the total compensation package. Depending on the position and eligibility requirements, the offer package may also include bonus or other variable compensation.
