Project Manager, AdTech
POSITION SUMMARY
AdAction Interactive is seeking an experienced Project Manager to plan, manage, and execute the development of our AdTech product line(s). He or she will transform a product vision and “requirements” documentation into a living product. Through careful planning, design, and management, he or she will lead a team of engineers and internal stakeholders through the execution and technical phases of product delivery.
The Project Manager will be responsible for establishing and maintaining communication protocols, feature design documentation, project specification documentation, quality assurance methods, deliverable timelines, and budget/resource management reports.
RESPONSIBILITIES
- Developing project scopes: phases, timelines, budgets, and objectives.
- Create and maintain comprehensive project documentation
- Coordinate, oversee and measure project development efforts by 3rd party engineers for flawless project execution; preferably through the user of Jira software: maintaining various sprints, backlogs, and prioritization of tasks
- Report and escalate to management, as needed
- Manage the relationship between technical and business stakeholders
- Perform risk management to minimize project risks
- Be an assertive leader; the “glue and the grease,” organizing the project, pulling together details, and moving the project forward
- Utilize big data to drive strategic decisions.
QUALIFICATIONS & EXPERIENCE
- 5+ years of software project management, preferably in a fast-paced AdTech industry
- Ability to interact with and represent department to a range of people, from entry-level to upper management and leadership
- Exceptional written and verbal communication skills. Ability to break down complex information into understandable pieces.
- Strong educational background, preferably in computer science, data analytics, or engineering fields.
- Strong organizational skills including attention to detail and multitasking skills
- Excellent quantitative data analysis and critical-thinking skills
- Solid technical background with experience and understanding in data analytics and web applications.
- Quick decision maker - ability to demonstrate bias for action under tight timing and pressure Ability to manage the needs of multiple internal stakeholders
- Preferred PMP Certification
