WHAT YOU'LL BE DOING...

  • You will oversee every aspect of product development in partnership with the business line owners and Engineering
  • Foster an environment driven by creative ideas to drive growth metrics and dive into details from deep in the stack to the end user experience
  • Build great software products and thrive on driving forward the vision, strategy and process required to develop and execute the roadmap with a team of ambitious and talented PMs and designers 
  • Recruit, hire and empower a team of PMs to do their best work
  • Develop the Maxwell product roadmap for a cross-functional team of PMs, engineers, data scientists, designers, and operators to maximize impact for our customers and Maxwell’s business
  • Define the product vision and strategy alongside the leadership team, build business cases, and determine how to leverage emerging technologies and insights into industry trends
  • Articulate and deliver user experiences that make our customers raving fans
  • Lean into customer relationships to develop a deep understanding of customer pain points, figure out the right solutions, and then prototype, iterate, and launch frequently
  • Partner with go-to-market functions, Sales, Customer Success and Partnerships to refine collaboration as a team
  • Be an owner of products and businesses, end to end, shaping a well-oiled product development process

IDEALLY YOU'LL HAVE...

  • 12+ years of in-depth experience relevant to product leadership, including managing product teams at hypergrowth software businesses
  • Experience in and passion for financial products & technology, specifically what Maxwell is accomplishing
  • Entrepreneurial, with track record of building and scaling new products with a collaborative, cross-functional mindset
  • Manage with a coach mentality for a team of professionals who wake up every morning to delivery their best for our customers and their borrowers
  • Approach leadership with kindness but you’re not shy to be straight-up in your interactions with others - we’re a company of continued learners
  • Bring grit, a willingness to roll up your sleeves, and be a hands-on help to your team
  • Have a proven track record of building products customers love
  • Data-driven learning style and creativity
  • Be entrepreneurial, driven, passionate about our mission, and have deep empathy for our customers
