Vice President of Product

The VP of Product at NextHealth is an avid evangelist of our product with a strong track record of execution and follow through of a technical roadmap. The VP of Product is a great overall leader. Their responsibilities are also inclusive of product strategy, product design and product development. The VP of Product oversees every element of the product from its conceptualization to its deployment and post-deployment performance. They are responsible for building a great product that creates value for our clients and, in turn, our company.


  1. Define and execute a product roadmap that aligns with quantifiable market opportunities
  2. Interact with current and prospective clients to relay the product’s value while simultaneously sourcing feedback; manage ongoing feedback loops that improve the user experience and overall value of the platform
  3. Receive client input and translate requests to requirements, timeline, and quality assurance to ensure delivery to client expectations
  4. Partner with the VP of Engineering on the strategy underpinning our cloud and technical infrastructure, overseeing high-level architectural decisions and guiding teams to successful execution on continuous infrastructure optimization efforts
  5. Work with Client Services to achieve agreed-to targets for client satisfaction, as well as operational and financial metrics for success of our product and company overall
  6. Lead the evaluation of market, industry and competitive trends
  7. Serve as a critical member of the Senior Leadership team; facilitate collaboration across the business on the development and implementation of cross-functional processes and initiatives that support our corporate strategy
  8. Oversee product and analytics departments and coordinate analytics, client delivery and engineering activities
  9. Drive continuous innovation, leading the identification and evaluation of product improvement and extension opportunities to maximize value of the NHT solution

Qualifications – Required

  1. 15+ years of post-graduate experience
  2. 10+ years of product management experience
  3. Prior experience leading product for a software or technology-enabled service organization
  4. Proven success in information technology product that has delivered quantifiable success in market
  5. Expert command of software development life cycle methodologies and tools
  6. Extensive experience serving in a leadership capacity within a business that offers cloud-based, data-oriented technology products
  7. Track record building and leading high-performing, agile, cross-functional teams
  8. Strong executive presence and excellent verbal and written communication skills
  9. Bachelor’s degree from a top tier institution

Qualifications – Preferred

  1. Experience in healthcare, particularly supporting payer customers
  2. Experience effectively scaling the offerings of an entrepreneurial, high-growth organization
  3. Experience with core components of our tech stack, including Microsoft Azure, MongoDB, and Airflow
  4. Familiarity with Python programming language
  5. Master’s degree in business, computer science or other relevant field.
