We’re currently looking for:
RingCentral’s team is looking for a highly-talented VP of Product Management to advance our vision of collaborative communications. This is a key leadership position at RingCentral, reporting to the SVP of Product Management. You will lead multiple product management teams charged with creating world-class end user experiences with new features to help our users send messages, share files, and make voice and video calls. This role involves defining a visionary, creative, and winning strategy for our products in collaboration with Marketing, Sales, Design, Engineering, and other functions to accomplish meaningful goals for our customers and our business.
To succeed in this role you must have experience in:
You will develop and communicate the product strategy and roadmap for end-user web, desktop, and mobile applications for RingCentral. As part of this, you will develop and maintain deep domain experience related to team collaboration and video and voice communications.
You will stay intimately engaged with our customers by continually learning about them through a variety of methods, including customer calls, user research, and analytics.
You will develop and execute RingCentral’s apps product strategy, with a keen focus on end-user experience and serving the extensibility needs of current and future customers and partners.
You will collaborate with Design, Engineering, Go-To-Market functions, and the executive team to conceive and build roadmaps that support RingCentral’s overall company strategy.
You will be accountable for driving roadmap execution and ensuring a balance of staff across all projects and apps.
You will manage, coach, and inspire existing product managers at all levels from first-year product analysts to experienced leaders.
You will build an organizational structure that keeps your product managers empowered and company executives informed.
You will anticipate future product needs and lead your team in crafting plans to realize them, balancing new feature development with investments in tech debt reduction.
You will prepare product presentations and updates for the executive staff, customers, and analysts.
You will represent RingCentral in industry and customer events and promote our user first philosophy.
Qualifications:
You must be a seasoned product leader with at least 10 years in product management leadership roles.
You have a proven history of driving product strategy and shipping multiple products concurrently with cross-functional teams.
You must have a track record of building successful apps that serve consumer or end user audiences in the millions of end users.
You should have experience developing processes for your team to manage the product life cycle from cradle to grave.
You have built large product teams and have a track record of driving them toward a big vision and consistent execution.
You have enough frontend and backend technical experience with SaaS web and mobile applications to be able to have meaningful discussions with engineers about architecture and product decisions.
You have a deep understanding of and experience with user growth and engagement tactics.
You possess extraordinary written and verbal communication skills and are comfortable presenting to the CEO, the board of directors, customer executives, and leading industry analysts.
You have high energy and drive. Your product managers are key decision makers in the company and they need your passion and enthusiasm to be on top of their games.
You are highly organized. With many of your people doing many things in a fast-moving company, strong organizational skills—both for yourself and for the team—will be required
Experience you have with freemium adoption is a plus.
