We are seeking a Technical Product Owner to identify, lead, and develop market ready solutions that integrate with key strategic partners. This role is responsible for working with partners, analyzing business process and data requirements, integrating with existing business partner API’s, defining technical requirements for those integrations, and leading efforts to bring integrations to market. Partners are in the accounting software and payments space. The Product Owner is a dynamic position which requires an individual to understand the vision of the product from the point of view of the customer, end users, and stakeholders while getting into the details of partner endpoints and APIs.
Primary Responsibilities:
- Acquire detailed level of requirements from stakeholders and/or customers.
- Develop user stories for the engineering team
- Develop and maintain product backlog
- Clearly communicate the business requirements to team members.
- Manage coordination efforts with UX/UI team to build solutions.
- Determine Minimum Viable Product (MVP)
- Build and maintain relationships with stakeholders.
- Serve as product owner for troubleshooting customer issues related to partnerships
- Train sales team on new product to effectively sell the benefits of the solution.
- Incorporate feedback from stakeholders and business leaders into product iterations.
- Work with the sales and support team as the subject matter expert.
Qualifications:
- Demonstrable technical acumen, including technical writing skills
- Demonstrate business acumen and ability to communicate
- Excellent communication skills, both written and oral
- Strong understanding of APIs and structured data.
- Strong interpersonal, analytical, problem-solving, influencing, prioritization, decision-making, and conflict resolution skills.
- Expert in translating customer business problems, objectives, and challenges into value added solutions and services.
- Experience in accounting systems and payments a plus.
Helpful for Success:
- Knowledge of accounting systems or property management tools a plus
- Desire and curiosity to dig deep into technical implementation details.
- Experience in Agile development methodologies and IT project management
- Ability to work efficiently and effectively in a fast past environment
