Apostrophe is building the health plan that’s fixing America.

The largest most creative self-insured employers have determined how to cut 40% from their healthcare costs. Our SaaS platform makes their best practices plug-and-play for the other 80% of US employers who self-insure their health benefits. In an industry defined by complexity, opacity and indifference – Apostrophe is delivering simplicity, transparency and love.

We are a Techstars Boulder 2017 company and certified B Corporation. Blue Cross Blue Shield Kansas, Royal Street Capital, and Ulu Ventures are helping us build a fast-growing sustainable business based around our core values.

The Technical Product Manager will play a key role in building out Apostrophe’s secret sauce. This person will report directly to the Director of Product and have the following responsibilities:

  • Identify new opportunities to improve how Apostrophe streamlines operational processes (such as payments and eligibility) across all health benefits stakeholders
  • Own cross-functional metrics and initiatives that will help Apostrophe grow to new heights
  • Work with team members in Finance, Operations, and Account Management to understand and document existing business processes
  • Create scalable business and technical processes to manage data using industry best practices
  • Work with engineering team to document and champion business rules to power our proprietary software
  • Test new product features and respond quickly to any major issues
  • Be a cheerleader for Apostrophe and its product both inside and outside our office

About you:

  • You enjoy working in an evolving and fast-paced environment, which is also relaxed and fun
  • You fully own your area of responsibility; you are accountable, reliable, and a team player
  • As an early team member, you will help develop a culture of diversity, inclusion, and excellence. You are interested in learning what is involved in going from concept to scale
  • You have a Bachelor’s degree (or equivalent) with a minimum of 3 years of product, finance, or business analyst experience
  • You’re a self-starter, love building process flows, and are comfortable swimming in ambiguity
  • Please send us a copy of your resume to [email protected] (cover letter is optional but a nice way for us to get that personal touch!)
  • We have an open time off policy, as we promote work-life balance. If you are full-time it comes with an early-stage options package. Medical, dental, vision, and 401K are also available.

Apostrophe does not discriminate based on race, color, religion (creed), gender, gender expression, age, national origin (ancestry), disability, marital status, sexual orientation, or military status, in any of its activities or operations. We are committed to providing a versatile and welcoming environment for all members of our staff, volunteers, subcontractors, vendors, and clients.
