Zoom is seeking a hands-on, operational manager to lead our vulnerability disclosure programs and help lead our PSIRT. In this role you will establish, enhance and monitor the processes and metrics that define the day-to-day operations of these programs. 

In addition to strong leadership and communication skills, as a player-coach you will need to have deep familiarity with the coordinated disclosure space and experience implementing tools, techniques and procedures to maintain and enhance the operational effectiveness of these programs. This role is focused on relationship management and will closely collaborate with many teams across Zoom, vendors, and others externally.

Responsibilities:

  • Day-to-day operational and budget responsibility for Zoom’s VDP and Bug Bounty Programs and build relationships with stakeholders throughout Zoom.

  • Work with peer leaders to formalize Zoom’s Product Security Incident Response 

  • Program (PSIRT).

  • Ensure all activities related to these programs meet or enhance Zoom’s compliance with internal policies and external regulatory requirements.

  • Manage Zoom’s relationship with the global security researcher community and proactively identify opportunities for outreach.

  • Perform the responsibilities of a PSIRT Incident Commander as appropriate.

Requirements:

  • Must be a U.S. Person located in the U.S.

  • 4 or more years experience in security, with at least 2 years experience specifically in a bug bounty-related role.

  • Exceptional verbal and written communication skills necessary to effectively collaborate with peers, and to present and explain highly technical information to stakeholders.

  • Prior experience building effective dashboard, metrics, and data analysis programs.

  • Must be available for after-hours meetings with other time zones.

  • Conference speaking experience preferred.

  • Chinese speakers preferred.
