Job Duties and Responsibilities

You Will...

We are looking for highly motivated and driven product owners to lead our development teams in delivering world class software for Sling TV.  Your primary responsibilities include:

• Collaborating with internal and external customers to craft product features.
• Owning the product vision and utilizing it to create a dynamic product feature roadmap.
• Communicating customer context and acting as the user proxy for your products.
• Decomposing product features into workable user stories.
• Continually prioritizing and grooming product backlogs for cross-functional, full-stack application teams.
• Coordinating with the Scrum Master to facilitate and/or participate in the necessary Scrum ceremonies, possibly including Sprint Planning, Daily Scrums, Sprint Review, Sprint Demo, and Sprint Retrospective.
• Coordinating cross-team delivery, managing dependencies, and defining best practices.
• Sharing and evangelizing the work completed, product backlog, and Scrum team metrics.

Skills - Experience and Requirements

You Have…

• Bachelor's degree from four-year college or university and four years related experience; or equivalent combination of education and experience
• 6+ years demonstrated organizational, communicative, and analytical skills in:
  • Project Management
  • Business Analysis
  • Systems Analysis
  • Application Management
  • Product Management
• Working knowledge of an environment where Agile processes were used to deliver various types of development products (problem resolution, business features, etc.)
• A strong desire to learn and contribute to the knowledge of your teams
• The ability to work well and communicate with both IT-technical and business-functional people 
• A passion for creating world class products with the help of a great team
