Summary/Objective:

The Travelers Haven family is looking for a Product Leader who will own and drive our product roadmap and transform how we currently operate our end-to-end Product function. We are looking for someone that can think strategically and operate tactically daily. The early days will require a lot of blocking-tackling as we continue to optimize our current roadmap while managing product/feature requests and making iterative improvements to how we manage ROI and prioritization. We need someone that does not shy away from respectfully declining requests while providing feedback on building feature business cases.

The ideal candidate will continue to build a more robust, proactive, and customer-centric Product Management function using frameworks such as Jobs-to-be-Done. At this point we fully expect that most product and feature requests will come from the Product Management function as an integral part of the Voice of the Customer.

Because of this need to address short-term tactical needs at the same time as building a proactively comprehensive Product Management function, the ideal candidate is someone that has extensive Product Management experience and is at the cusp of becoming a Director in their organization within the next 12 months.

Senior Product Manager will be reporting directly into the CEO on an interim basis.

Essential Functions:

  • Work cross-collaboratively with marketing, sales, account management, finance, and customer support to develop and manage go-to market plans for new product features
  • Work directly with engineering to build out prioritized backlog of product features and ensure quality assurance of new features
  • Generate product/feature specifications, financials, launch timetables, pricing, and market strategies
  • Introduce and market new products by developing time-integrated plans with sales, marketing, and production
  • Responsible for communication, visibility, and transparency to all stakeholders from the leadership team to every single product/feature requestor
  • Manage the critical KPIs of the Product and Engineering functions and reporting appropriately to key stakeholders

  • Strategic thinker and problem solver that strengths product position to accelerate company growth and profitability
  • Excellent people and project management skills to interact with staff, colleagues, cross-functional teams, and third parties
  • Ability to excel in past-faced environments with minimal supervision
  • Familiar with Jobs-to-be-Done framework
  • Ensures that our Software Engineering team only works on items that will move the needle and that those releases will have the intended impact
