Sr. Product Manager - USG
The Sr. Product Manager – U.S. Government (USG) Products is responsible for driving profitable growth through the management and marketing of DigitalGlobe Commercial products for U.S. Government. The position requires an in-depth understanding of market requirements from U.S. Government buyers and users of satellite imagery. This position requires the use of DigitalGlobe products with business partner capabilities to craft initial solution concepts and develop a product roadmap to address customer requirements. A successful candidate will possess an in-depth understanding of market requirements from U.S. Government buyers and users of satellite imagery and information products.
The position involves frequent interaction and collaboration with key customers, the business development and proposal teams, development team, and operations. A background in U.S. Government geospatial markets, enterprise platform acquisitions, and geospatial/enterprise business models is strongly desired. Job duties include identifying emerging customer needs and shaping customer thinking and activity prior to RFP/RFI release, supporting RFP/RFI responses and ensure technical solutions comply with customer requirements, developing and executing product business plans, providing technical assistance to customers throughout the delivery process to ensure that DigitalGlobe solutions meet customer expectations, partnering with U.S. Government market vendors to develop solutions using DigitalGlobe’s products and services. Most importantly, a successful candidate must have both the vision and discernment to maintain alignment between emerging DG products, U.S Government needs, and viable government acquisition strategies. As the internal and external evangelist for the product offerings, the position requires big-picture vision coupled with the organizational skills and internal drive to make the product vision a reality.
Basic Qualifications
- Minimum 7 years of product life cycle management experience
- Minimum 5 years of experience with U.S. Government geospatial solutions
- Must possess an active top secret level clearance
- Experience in the Defense & Intelligence industry with knowledge of U.S. Government Geospatial requirements and acquisition/procurement cycle
- Strong analytical capabilities and excellent communication skills in order to communicate vision, strategy and tactics across multiple stakeholders
- Understanding of U.S Government prioritizes, produces, and provides Foundation GEOINT (FG) and analytics products to end-users in the National System for Geospatial Intelligence (NSG)
- Excellent cross-functional skills across customers, marketing, operations, and engineering
- Flexibility to work multiple tasks and priorities concurrently.

- Ability to travel as needed
Preferred Qualifications
- 7+ years of experience with U.S. Government geospatial solutions
- Active TS/SCI clearance
- Knowledge of NGA’s current Foundation GEOINT production workflows and future strategic direction
- Knowledge of computer vision and machine learning
