Role Purpose
We're looking for a creative, strategic and analytical Sr. Merchandising Manager who can help lead a high performing team through our transformation into a premier subscription service that brings actionable inspiration and enriching entertainment to our extraordinary customer community. As Bluprint’s Sr. Merchandiser Manager, you’ll play a critical role in bringing together our content and commerce offering to create new and engaging site experiences. These site experiences are key to fulfilling our brand promise that Bluprint is a place for members to explore their passions and achieve their creative and lifestyle goals.
Responsibilities

  • ROI-based strategy & planning
  • Drive innovation & collaborate with key stakeholders to to meet customer needs
  • Work to understand business priorities, and market trends and to communicate status updates on projects and initiatives
  • Leverage all customer data to understand and report on performance and identify opportunities
  • Act at the lead on data analysis to provide actionable insights to the Editorial and Merchandising department that will help drive long and short-term strategy
  • Manage, coach and develop a team of Merchandising Associates

Basic Qualifications
• BA/BS degree
• 7+ years of experience in relevant field
• Previous direct management experience

• Must be willing to work in Denver, CO
• Must have unrestricted work authorization to work in the United States

• A Strategic Thinker: Can synthesize info to develop a vision & continually update beliefs
• Passionate about the customer with a strong desire to understand user behavior 
• Technical background, or aptitude in picking up new systems and technologies
• Strong analytical background
• Prior experience with subscription services is a plus
• A Cross-Functional Communicator & Influencer: Can navigate relationships and inputs from multiple constituents, including cross-functional contributors
• A Right- and Left-Brained Marketer: Very comfortable navigating and utilizing Google Analytics, has a strong understanding of SEO, and can drive towards revenue goals yet all with an appreciation for brand building and a creative eye
• A True Appreciation of Creativity/Making: Genuine enthusiasm and understanding of our offering and appreciation of how that aligns with our customer’s needs
• Prior experience in merchandising or product marketing
• Creative sensibilities, both design and copywriting
