Senior Product Operations Manager
Summary
The Senior Product Operations Manager plays a pivotal role in the refinement and execution of the product development lifecycle. They build processes in the Product organization and have expertise in SaaS product development and go-to-market (GTM) as well as program and change management. Key Job responsibilities include working closely with Product leadership and key stakeholders to improve the way we work by building processes and systems which make the Workiva Product organization a great place to work.
What You'll Do
Lead successful implementation of cross-functional, high-impact initiatives and programs that enable the company to achieve short and long-term goals
- Create comprehensive change management plans to ensure successful implementation and adoption of new ways of working
- Identify issues, risks and dependencies and drive to resolution
- Establish the right amount of process to drive efficiency, alignment, and continuity in a rapidly evolving environment
- Ensure business solutions and systems are flexible and scalable to meet the demands of the organization
- Deliver high-impact, highly visible presentations around the Product organization’s strategy, processes, success metrics, and results to senior and executive level management
What You'll Need
Education
- Bachelor's Degree or equivalent (MBA or MSOTM preferred)
Experience
- 5+ years of experience
- Experience in the SAAS industry with previous roles in Strategy & Operations, Product Management, Product Marketing, or Launch Management
- Successfully lead and delivered highly-visible strategic programs in cross-functional work environments
- Experience with JIRA//Jira Align/Confluence as well as Roadmap and Project Management productivity tools (e.g., Aha, ProductBoard, Asana, Monday.com)
Skills
- Ability to implement at a strategic level and also roll up the sleeves and do the work; easily able to shift from one context to the other
- Strong organizational and prioritization skills with the ability to lead multiple projects simultaneously
- Demonstrated communication and presentation skills with the ability to communicate effectively to executives, management, and teams in both one-on-one and group settings
- Working knowledge of formal change management and decision making frameworks
- Strong product analytics and data analysis skills
- Excellent at Facilitating goal setting, KPIs and success metric formation and tracking
Travel Requirement
- Minimal travel
Working Conditions & Physical Requirements
- Reliable internet access for any period of time working remotely, not in a Workiva office.
How You'll Be Rewarded
- Base Pay Range in Colorado: $151,000 - $195,000
- A discretionary bonus typically paid annually
- Restricted Stock Units granted at time of hire
- 401(k) match
The base pay range represents the low and high end of the hiring range for this job. Actual pay will vary and may be above or below the range based on various factors including but not limited to relevant skills, experience, and capabilities.
