Swimlane is looking for a passionate product manager to lead the creation of innovative solutions that improve the lives of security teams, reducing the level of effort required to keep organizations secure by building an industry-leading security automation platform.
You will be responsible for driving the execution of applications, integrations, and solutions for one or more product lines according to our corporate goals and strategic product vision, defining, iterating, evangelizing, and working cross-functionally with UI/UX, customer success, product marketing, sales, and engineering.
The preferred candidate will have at least five (5) years of technical product management experience, preferably managing a security or workflow automation product in the past. As a Product Manager at Swimlane, you will gain an understanding of our customers, identify problems that need to be solved, manage a backlog, and work with technical teams to deliver features for our customers while improving the scalability of the platform and generating revenue. You will work collaboratively with our product team to shape our vision, strategy, and roadmap with primary responsibilities of gaining an understanding of the security automation market, managing a backlog and working with development teams to deliver features that move our products forward.

Requirements
What You'll Do:

  • Work with product leadership to formulate our product vision, strategy and roadmap
  • Drive Story, Backlog, and Feature definition and prioritize based on defined Initiatives
  • Internalize and deeply understand complex technical problems and how they impact our customers and our teams
  • Be the voice of the customer and provide a business perspective on value during day-to-day development
  • Understand when to make tradeoffs between planned work and the unexpected interrupt-driven work
  • Conduct customer and stakeholder interviews to validate and own story definition
  • Coordinate with other product managers on features / betas / roadmaps / feedback
  • Prepare the go to market teams on the appropriate plan for availability of product improvements
  • Communicate our vision to customers as needed


What You'll Bring:

  • Minimum of 5 years relevant experience as a Product Owner in a commercial SaaS company with an agile (Kanban, Scrum, XP) environment
  • Experience in security solutions, automation, and workflow are strong pluses
  • Passion for working in a highly collaborative, fast paced environment
  • Self-motivated, organized
  • Excellent written communication and presentation skills, and experience working with enterprise customers and ecosystem partners
  • Bachelor's degree or equivalent work experience
