The world of healthcare is changing dramatically. We are looking for a Senior Product Manager to direct and help transform our niche of the healthcare industry. This individual must possess an entrepreneurial spirit, creativity, and the drive to deliver high-value and market changing solutions to customers. You will be starting from a position of strength, as ZOLL Data is a market leader in providing technology solutions to EMS and Fire agencies.  We are seeking a strong leader to help position the Communications portfolio for continued growth in the years to come, as we transition all portfolio products to SaaS and attack clinical communications in the healthcare market.

 

The Product Manager for the Communications market vertical will lead product management for a suite of dispatch, navigation, & clinical communications products for EMS, Fire and broader healthcare market. This position is responsible for strategic vision to tactical execution, delivering value to the market, product/release planning, go-to-market activities and supporting business success. This includes evaluating the current competitive landscape, changing market trends and evolving EMS & Fire ecosystem in order to develop business cases and roadmaps focused on growth. The ideal candidate will be a strong leader and strategic thinker who enjoys spending time in the market to understand our customers and their desired business outcomes.

 

Responsibilities

  • Provide leadership and have accountability for successfully defining and delivering products that anticipate the needs of the marketplace and delivers results against P&L objectives.
  • Be able to develop business plans and product strategies that grow the market opportunity for the Communications product portfolio.
  • Gather input from clients and internal stakeholders to create product strategy and set direction and priority. 
  • Organize and lead customer advisory groups.
  • Define and manage portfolio product roadmaps and release plans that support the portfolio and company vision.
  • Understand and be able to communicate desired buyer and user outcomes and their associated business values.
  • Analyze competitive offerings to identify differentiators for ZOLL.
  • Complete Win/Loss analysis to glean insight and drive action from previous sales experience.
  • Build relationships with companies to assess and establish partnering opportunities.
  • Effectively communicate the value of the portfolio, and the products within it, to internal and external stakeholders
  • Work closely with other product managers (both within and across portfolios) to ensure integration requirements are successfully implemented
  • Develop and implement new product introduction (NPI) and go-to-market strategy, plans, and content with cross-functional teams and leaders.
  • Mentor product owners on the team.

 

Qualifications

  • 10+ years in software technology organizations.
  • 8+ years acting as product manager - Pragmatic Marketing certification a plus.
  • EMS/Fire/Healthcare experience.
  • Experience delivering solutions in Digital Health and Healthcare IT space a plus
  • BA/BS degree or equivalent practical experience. MBA a plus.
  • Experience working with commercial software in SaaS and mobile environments.
  • Deep understanding of cloud delivered solutions and Agile process delivery.
  • Proven cross-functional leadership.
  • Broad base of business skills, with strong revenue growth record of accomplishment.
  • Demonstrated success in identifying and delivering outcome driven solutions.
  • Excellent technical and analytical skills.
  • Solution and team oriented with the ability to collaborate, build trust, and influence others within a matrix organization.
  • Self-motivated, able to proactively work toward goals independently
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • Ability to travel up to 30%
