The Trade Desk is a global technology company with a mission to create a better, more open Internet for everyone through principled, intelligent advertising.

Handling over 600 billion queries per day (more than 100X the query volume of search globally), our platform operates at unprecedented scale. We have also built something even stronger and more valuable: an award-winning culture based on trust, empathy, collaboration, and ownership. By working together across typical dividing lines, we are better as a team than any of us could be apart.

Do you have a passion for solving hard problems at scale? Are you eager to join a trust-based, globally-connected team, where your contributions will make a meaningful difference?

Come and see why Fortune Magazine consistently ranks The Trade Desk among best small-medium sized workplaces globally.

WHO WE ARE:

The Trade Desk is leading the way to the future of marketing by changing how advertising is bought and sold. Working with the largest brands and agencies around the world, our technology platform helps consumers discover products they want by enabling advertisers to target and reach them on the right channels at the right time.

Employees join The Trade Desk to discover opportunities, contribute to our customers’ success, and be part of building the future of marketing. You’ll work with creative, compassionate, and collaborative colleagues that share a passion for making the internet better for all – a combination that simply can't be beat.

When you join The Trade Desk, you’re joining a family. We have open space work environments, adjustable sitting/standing desks, and a celebrated open-door policy (at all levels) that can inspire out-of-the-box solutions and camaraderie among your coworkers. The competitive compensation packages, full benefits, stock options, additional discounted stock purchase opportunities, catered lunches, and offsite team building activities may cause slight to severe jealousy among your peers.

WHO WE ARE LOOKING FOR:

We are looking for a driven Senior-level Product Manager to work on our future-proofed measurement products. You should have the ability to learn, convince, prototype, build, measure, and refine the next generation of measurement products. The ideal candidate will be technical, driven, think creatively, and has great collaboration and communication skills.

WHAT YOU WILL BE DOING:

The Trade Desk is a rapidly growing company, as our CEO often says: "we're only 2% done." We are facing the biggest paradigm shift in advertising in the last century as the industry moves towards data-driven, results-oriented advertising.

Our suite of Measurement products provides clients with transparency into performance of their campaigns across all stages of the Marketing funnel. From a Measurement Marketplace that offers simple integration of data from independent measurement partners to advanced causal measurement products - we enable clients to see the true value of their marketing campaigns.

As a Senior Product Manager for Measurement at the Trade Desk, your responsibilities will include:

  • Lead vision, strategy, and execution for a set of measurement products as we transition towards User IDs becoming less present across multiple environments.

  • Work closely with cross-functional partners in engineering, data science, UX, data partnerships, and other business teams.

WHAT YOU BRING TO THE TABLE:

  • You have worked on causal measurement or conversion modeling

  • You understand how cross-device graphs affect measurement products

  • You are interested in the changing identity landscape and know the difference between FLoC and PARAKEET

  • You can easily find answers in data and don’t shy away from SQL

  • Sharing a product area with another PM comes naturally to you

  • 4+ years of Product Management experience

  • Excellent communication/presentation skills both in large and small groups

  • A sustained track record of making significant, self-directed, and end-to-end contributions to large and impactful software projects

  • Ability to solve complex, technical problems with creative solutions while managing tradeoffs

Nice-to-haves

  • Experience working with distributed teams - we have over 20 offices globally and most of the colleagues are working from home these days

  • Experience in the advertising technology space

  • Background in software development, engineering, or data science

  • #LI-CP1

Monthly happy hours, monthly TTD employee birthday celebrations, quarterly team building events, annual company-wide conference called Palooza in California, sponsoring & hosting meetups, BuiltIn Brews, tube to work day, potluck lunches, holiday parties for both TTD employees & TTD kids!

Casey

How do you collaborate with other teams in the company?

I’d say my typical day at The Trade Desk is split up something like this:
• 20% syncing up with the team about ongoing work, including status updates and design discussions
• 15% reviewing platform health and helping to address any issues that may arise
• 10% joking around with friends at the office
• 55% coding new projects

Taylor

Software Engineer

How do your team's ideas influence the company's direction?

“We aim to catch, test, and fix all points of failure before we sign off on a new integration. We’re also encouraged to think critically about all potential complications and then solve for them with whatever stylistic approach we prefer – all the while facilitating exciting partnerships with our clients. That sounds pretty cool to me.

Ken

Integrations Manager

What's something quirky about your company?

We did go-kart racing once. It was a lot of fun. We went downhill biking once, which was insane. There's also a lot of other casual things we'll do, like hold barbecues in the office every once in awhile. One of my co-workers is a very skilled barbecuer, so he'll make some barbecue and we'll do that for lunch and all hang out together
