Help shape and execute our vision to make Video Communication an amazing experience by elevating our voip and telephony audio conferencing experiences. As the Audio Conferencing Product Manager, you’ll lead our audio strategy and deliver the most delightful communications experience to our customers around the world. You will collaborate with other product managers to build, maintain, and align our large global telephony infrastructure across the Zoom platform for Meetings, Webinars, and Zoom Phone services, and dive deep into the Zoom client capabilities for delivering the highest quality audio experience in challenging real world environments and applications.
Define and execute our audio conferencing strategy for global markets. Continuously improve the reach and scale of our telephony network and constantly look for opportunities to improve audio experience for all constituents.
Develop audio conferencing as a platform service with easy to use API framework that could be easily integrated with 3rd party telephony infrastructure
Define & execute the roadmap for the infrastructure expansion to provide a highly reliable & available service with global infrastructure & telephony footprint
Create audio interaction experience for meeting participants that is intuitive & localized to the needs of global participants
Collaborate with fraud team in developing anti-fraud practices to prevent revenue leaks in Audio Conferencing
Define policy and governance requirements from customers & partners around audio conferencing, and collaborate with other teams in delivering a consistent and easy to use experience across web admin & API
Partner with Legal and Marketing to understand market dynamics and customer needs while ensuring our compliance with international policies and regulations
Provide detailed technical requirements for the development team to translate requirements into appropriate web administration experience, desktop and mobile application experience
Partner with procurement and pricing team to ensure that the Audio Conferencing service has the most compelling value for our customers
Ideal candidates will have:
2+ Years Product Management experience.
5+ Years Telecommunications and/or UCaaS experience including working with known Tier-1 carriers and MSOs.
Telephony and network experience with knowledge of SIP, H.323, and VoIP Standards.
Bachelors or Masters in communications technology or related field
Familiarity with VOIP codecs, noise & echo detection/suppression techniques, and computer audio peripherals.
