What is this opportunity?

Product Trainer

We're seeking an experienced Product Trainer to join our product marketing team to help drive adoption of our Dice and eFinancialCareers products by developing a complete product training curriculum for clients, partners, and internal stakeholders. This position requires a confident, self-directed worker who can learn quickly, work productively, and collaborate well within DHI and externally.

Key Responsibilities 

·Develop and maintain expert level knowledge of the full Dice and eFinancialCareers product suite.

·Work with client-facing, product, and marketing teams to create a strategic plan to meet product training goals.

·Enable and train our client facing teams to ensure product understanding, value and adoption.

·Equip and test internal sales, support, and other staff with product knowledge and tools needed to best serve current and future DHI clients.

·Develop comprehensive product training curriculum covering three stakeholder groups - internal, partners, and clients.

·Own the production of product training content required to support new product training curriculum as well as other core product marketing materials as needed to support other go-to-market activities.

·Select appropriate instructional methods such as individual training, group instruction, self-study, lectures, demonstration, role play and web-based training.

·Deliver and update internal product trainings regularly for new hires (onboarding) and for all stakeholders with every new product release.

·Adapt training approach to different cultures and own translation of product training curriculum/content for international markets as required.

·Own KPI development and reporting for product training curriculum/activities.

·Support, build, and promote a positive and collaborative culture across all teams.

 

 

What are we requiring for this role?

·Required Knowledge, Skills and Attributes  

˗       Experience creating product training curriculum including assessment methodology.

˗       Proven ability to think creatively and work independently.

˗       Outstanding verbal and written communication skills. Experience presenting in front of groups.

˗       Great interpersonal skills in dealing with a diverse population and ability to adapt techniques for various learning styles.

˗       Strong time management and organizational skills with high attention to detail.

˗       Demonstrated ability to coordinate multiple projects in an organized and timely manner.

˗       Fast-learner who can learn the product suite quickly and become self-directed in a short time.

˗       Collaborative and team-oriented.

˗       Travel – 25%

·Education and Experience 

o    Bachelor's Degree in Marketing, Engineering, or another related field of study.

o    At least 3– 5 years of proven product and content training experience.

o    Portfolio of training content including video recordings of live training sessions delivered.
