At Snapdocs, we are on a mission to enhance the real estate closing process with efficiency and transparency so that lenders can close their loans sooner and home buyers can move into their dream homes quicker. In order to accomplish this mission and build valuable products, we need to understand our users and their pain points by conducting integral research. We are hiring our first Product Research Coordinator to empower our Product and Design teams to complete this research! You’ll own establishing what research tools and processes we put in place, ensure we use best practices, and communicate our learnings across the team to maximize the impact of that research. If this sounds exciting, read on…

Snapdocs is an early-stage technology platform, backed by blue-chip venture capital firms such as Founders Fund, SV Angels, Sequoia Capital, F-Prime Capital and Y Combinator. We are tackling the $1.75 trillion U.S. mortgage market, developing modern software for an industry that still relies on fax machines and manila envelopes. We bring security, efficiency, and ultimately a better home buying experience to a paper-based pillar of the US economy. As we expand our product offering and tackle a broader swath of customers, we need to grow our team with smart, hungry, and curious people. That’s where you come in…

You will be our founding team member of our user research function! As a Product Research Coordinator, you will create and execute a user research program and manage the tools and processes we put in place to schedule and share user research learnings. You will bring efficiency to our Product Managers and Designers workflow by minimizing the amount of time they spend planning and scheduling user research sessions. You will drive increased participation and user engagement for research sessions and ensure our users love participating! You will coach and collaborate with Product Managers and designers to establish research plans, best practices guidelines, and enable them to conduct the research to gain valuable insights. You will act as an unbiased moderator when gaining feedback on new designs and prototypes while owning the mechanisms for measuring customer sentiment and actioning feedback. With you as our Product Research Coordinator, all Snapdocs employees will have a deeper understanding of our customers and the industry!

We are looking for someone with experience in product user research and has deep knowledge of various research methods. Ideally, this person will have an education in Psychology, Sociology or Human Behaviors. This role requires someone with strong project management skills, organizational skills and verbal and written communication skills. We need someone who is proficient at communicating research findings to cross functional partners in an engaging and actionable way. You are able to evaluate which type of generative and evaluative research methods we should utilize including but not limited to contextual inquiries, surveys, card sorting and usability studies. You are results oriented and have an analytical mind that enables you to find themes and extract learnings from raw feedback and know which questions need to be asked. Lastly, you possess strong initiative and drive with experience creating research processes and have owned programs from scratch.

Colorado applicants: This role pays $100,000 - $140,000 annually plus equity in the company (pay for other locations may vary).
