POSITION SUMMARY
AdAction is seeking a detail oriented and experienced Product QA Specialist. The ideal candidate is an exceptionally organized, team-oriented and collaborative professional. The Product QA Specialist will be responsible for monitoring, inspecting, and proposing measures in order to meet established quality standards for AdAction’s product suite. You will be charged with developing a quality assurance framework and collaborating across a variety of teams to create a “quality culture” throughout the development process and guarantee the final product is executed at a high level. This is a great opportunity to get in on the ground floor of a product incubator team and learn the ins and out of product development.
RESPONSIBILITIES
Collaborate with product management, design, and development teams to understand the user interface, functionality, and specifications of new features
Help develop and launch a comprehensive, scalable quality assurance framework to test new product features
Plan, execute, and oversee inspection and testing of incoming and outgoing product to confirm quality conformance to specifications and quality deliverables
Identify and report recurring issues and training opportunities to leadership. Identify training needs and take action to ensure company-wide compliance
Participate in all Scrum ceremonies and project/team meetings
Analyze and investigate product complaints or reported quality issues to ensure closure in accordance with product guidelines and external regulatory requirements
Help collect and maintain data to support product features
Review recorded customer experience and sales interactions to identify performance trends and opportunities, and recommend actionable insights to leadership
Ensure product content meets standards for content display and functionality by validating all page elements such as links, videos, images, and page layouts
Create and maintain technical and procedural documentation by collaborating with key stakeholders
Plan and run routine performance tests to provide stakeholders with information about their application regarding speed, stability, and scalability
Maintain manual reporting dashboards, ensuring accuracy and reliability
QUALIFICATIONS & EXPERIENCE
Bachelor’s Degree required
Detail-oriented and self-starting team player with excellent time management skills
Strong oral and written communication skills
Demonstrate strong grammar, spelling, and proofreading skills
Teamwork and collaboration
Experience with Microsoft products – Office (Word, PowerPoint), Outlook, SharePoint, and MicroSoft teams
Familiarity with JIRA or similar tracking software preferred
Experience with a content management system
Experience with testing across multiple browsers on both desktop and mobile devices
