Product Owner
NextHealth seeks a highly motivated, experienced product owner with a genuine interest in improving the health care system through the adoption of technology and data driven decision making.
Responsibilities
- Incorporate feature requests into product roadmap
- Document epics and groom them into user stories and create client facing user acceptance criteria
- Work directly with customers to define requirements for client custom development
- Review incoming work items to transform them into epics and stories
- Review bug reporting to triage, supply additional documentation as needed and prioritize fixes
- Supply release notes for client releases
- Work with the client services team to address questions and assist with operational work prioritization
- Refine our agile methodology based on results and client feedback
- Provide an active role in mitigating impediments impacting successful team completion of Release/Sprint Goals
- Research and analyze market, the users, and the roadmap for the product
- Follow competitors and the industry
- Keep abreast with Agile/Scrum best practices and new trends
Qualifications
- Previous experience working as a Product Owner
- Previous experience interfacing directly with customers for requirements gathering and refinement
- In-depth knowledge of Agile process and principles
- Familiarity with agile scrum and KanBan
- Outstanding communication, presentation and leadership skills
- Excellent organizational and time management skills
- Sharp attention to detail
- Experience working collaboratively with a software development team on the design and delivery of new product features
- Experience in healthcare, particularly supporting payer customers – highly desirable
- Familiarity and understanding of health care data - highly desirable
- Experience with health care analytics highly desirable
- Experience with Atlasian product suite - highly desirable
- UI/UX design experience - highly desirable
- Bachelor’s degree
