Job Overview
SonderMind is looking for an exceptional growth-minded professional to enhance our user-centric design processes, data analysis and user research to make products that constantly delight our customers. The Product Manager will work closely with leaders across multiple sections of the company to focus on continual improvement and development of the consumer product experience. This tireless professional will also collect and analyze user feedback, identify and define user stories for product development, and manage the successful implementation above and beyond static requirements.
Gotta Have
- Minimum of 4+ years of experience experience creating strategic product roadmap(s) from conception to launch and working with cross-functional teams, with at least 2+ at a digital health company
- Experience bringing next generation products, services and technologies to market, with multiple examples of creative solutions to big problems
- Drive first-person workflow & usability studies, field research and market analysis into product requirements to build best-in-class tools and infrastructure
- Experience with A/B Testing (Google Optimize, Optimizely, or similar), user testing, data-driven, design thinking, qualitative and Quantitative data analysis
- Bachelor's degree or equivalent practical experience
Nice to Have
- Experience with small teams, startups or early-stage technology companies
- Knowledge of multiple functional areas such as Product Management, Engineering, UX/UI, Sales, Customer Support, Finance or Marketing
- Demonstrable experience creating mockups and user flows with tools like Balsamiq, Axure, or Omingraffle
- User experience design and customer experience design background
Outcomes
- Within two weeks, complete your first epic of user stories. These stories should contain a well thought out plan to solving customer needs, user interviews to validate product requirements/benefits, and wireframes and flow mockups. They should also contain:
- Data Plan - what metrics the story will affect, how we intend to improve those metrics, and how those metrics will be tracked after release
- Iteration Plan - what is our minimum viable product, what do we expect to build in the next version, and how will data affect our expected iteration
- Release Plan - how do we inform users of our release, do we need to include training or other documentation
- Within four weeks, present to leadership, product team, and other interested parties on the ideal client experience journey. Include major milestones, metrics to measure for each milestone, and data-backed decision making for each step in the process; develop a product strategy and roadmap for a specified line of business
- Within the first quarter, manage the roadmap for a specific development team and set standards to make sure all stories are measurable and include an element of delight for the customer; includes implementation of agreed-upon ideal client experience.
- By the end of the year, manage the roadmap for all client products and:
- Increase client NPS by 50%
- Complete and document at least 40 user interviews
- Improve client portal created percentage (for those that have finished the match flow) to 80%
- Reach 50 client app installs per day
- Reach 99% collection for all client revenue
