The Role
We are looking for a Technical Product Manager who can confidently work with our team to analyze our business and market needs, assess our product gaps, and synthesize the requirements needed to build and strengthen our product platform. In this role you will be responsible for discovering, synthesizing, and analyzing information from a variety of sources including customers, business partners, engineers, and senior leadership.

You will

  • Write user stories that will shape the product every day
  • Groom and prioritize our backlog
  • Conduct Agile ceremonies (sprint planning, retrospectives, demos)
  • Be in constant communication with our Engineering team to ensure they have everything they need to deliver on our product roadmap
  • Write release notes to communicate product changes internally
  • Bring to market products that users want, that solve a business need, and that generate value

About You
You have a strong understanding of technology and experience in a Business Analyst, Product Owner, or Product Management role. Ideally you have experience in one of the preceding roles working on a web-based software product and have strong experience using Agile Scrum methodologies.

  • You’re motivated, passionate, and empathetic
  • You’re a skilled negotiator and comfortable with hyper-prioritization
  • You’re a team player and collaborate freely
  • You’re a top-notch communicator
  • You seek out creative solutions when confronted with challenging problems
  • You can be detail oriented when you need to be and take pride in your work
  • You share the glory when things go right, and step up to the plate to remedy a situation when things go wrong
  • You can translate engineering geek-speak into business language and vice versa
  • You love meeting with clients, understanding their needs, and translating those into actionable user stories or requirements

Required Skills and Experience

  • 2+ years of experience in Business Analyst, Product Owner, or Product Management position
  • Organized and meticulous in your work
  • Ability to understand tech trends, see how they impact your roadmap, and how they drive innovation
  • Ability to understand technical challenges and make educated trade-offs with your team based on value proposition, client impact, risk, competing priorities, and meeting previous commitments

Nice to have

  • Computer Science or Engineering degree or work experience a strong plus
  • Experience working with a CRM or BI product
  • Experience managing a SaaS product
  • Experience managing a mobile application
  • Experience working in the real estate industry or with real estate products

  • Competitive salary
  • 20 days of flexible vacation and 9 paid holidays
  • Employer-paid premiums for individual health, dental and vision insurance
  • Stock options
  • Well stocked snack pantry
  • Standing desks, for those so inclined
