Four Winds Interactive seeks a Product Manager – Network to work with the Product Management Team. This position will be responsible for exciting new product offerings in the FWI Cloud. The successful candidate will lead a team of Software Developers, User Experience Designers, and Quality Assurance Engineers to solve complex enterprise network administration challenges for our customers. This position will own key business objectives, leverage user feedback and data analysis to identify elegant solutions, and bring products customers love to market with measurable impacts for the organization.The Product Manager is not a management position.

 

The compensation package will be aligned to each candidate experience and qualifications. All applicants must be authorized to work in the United States. 

 

Responsibilities

Primary Responsibilities:

• Ingest: Consistently seek and consume input from users, business stakeholders, and market analysis
• Ideate: Work with your team to identify optimal solutions for your assigned objectives
• Prioritize: Determine the course which provides the greatest business value while avoiding technical debt
• Dismantle: Break large problems into manageable pieces in the form of user stories and tasks
• Communicate: Articulate and evangelize the product vision and roadmap both internally and externally
• Engage: Actively participate within your team as the subject matter expert and user advocate
• Monitor: Track and guide the progress of your team from development to user acceptance testing
• Deliver: Align with Marketing to ship products with high-quality, high-impact, and high-visibility
• Analyze: Implement and evaluate qualitative and quantitative data, monitoring the progress of your goals
• Iterate: Rinse and repeat, shipping new enhancements, features, and products early and often
• Energize: Execute on the above with daily passion and energy for your coworkers and users

Qualifications

Requirements for Success:

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, related or equivalent experience
• 3+ years’ experience in a Product Management role
• Deep understanding of software development life-cycle (SDLC)
• Demonstratable experience with Agile principles, including leading a product team in Scrum methodology
• Demonstratable experience in gathering customer feedback and client discovery
• Deep understanding of the roles and responsibilities of a cross-functional product team
• Organized and thorough, with a compulsion for keeping a groomed, prioritized product backlog
• Understanding of API architecture and methods
• Technically savvy and able to effectively communicate with developers
• Ability to effectively communicate directly with executives with a strong business acumen
• Passion for cutting edge technology with a technical evangelist mindset

Helpful for Success:

• Experience owning one or more modern, cloud-based web applications
• Experience with Amazon Web Services (AWS) products and architecture
• Experience creating products for large-scale IT / Systems Administration personas
• Administrator level experience with JIRA and/or Confluence
