The Opportunity

The role we’re looking to fill is a career defining opportunity for someone passionate about building great products and who wants to lead a world-class team of engineers, designers, and researchers in the greater Denver/Boulder area. The product you’ll help to build and shape touches thousands of users in real estate development every single day. Your job will be to help businesses manage their land development projects, make better decisions and to drive profitability for our clients.

Managing our product will have you spanning mapping technology, productivity, finance and real-estate.

What you will be doing

  • Understand our business strategy, deliver product that reflects that strategy
  • Deeply understand the problems that you are tackling through research and regular client and prospect interaction; and you frame those opportunities for the team using artifacts like target personas, ideal customer profiles and unique value proposition
  • Own the roadmap: capture work from a wide range of inputs, understand and prioritize this work so your team is working on the most impactful projects
  • Collaborate with our team to imagine and create future solutions that solve these problems
  • Work with our CEO to develop go-to-market strategy for our products
  • Scope these solutions to their smallest coherent state, develop the corresponding backlog to deliver value to customers early and often
  • Engage in the Agile process as need be – acceptance criteria, sprint demos, etc
  • Champion a metrics driven approach to product management by constantly evaluating the impact of our product through quantitative and qualitative measures
  • Own the quality of the product; deliver world-class software in every release.
  • Motivate a group of committed, smart people to do the best work of their careers

What skills do you need?

  • Multiple years experience in a Product Manager role, customer success or consulting role supporting a B2B SaaS product
  • Have a strong design background, be able to think deeply about product design decisions and have an understanding of how to create simple user interfaces.
  • Be a clear communicator of product decisions and the rationale behind them. Be comfortable in making decisions without consensus. You can help others make decisions by being persuasive.
  • You have experience working with both qualitative customer insights, and quantitative customer data to inform decisions. You’ve conducted user research, a/b tests and have worked closely with design researchers and analysts.
  • You’re entrepreneurial; you don’t need direction; you are self driven.
  • You’re organized, not ad hoc.
  • You can switch easily between thinking creatively and analytically.
  • Have an savviness around the technical architecture of complex web and mobile applications.
  • You have a track record of impactful self-directed contributions to large, challenging projects – i.e. you are gritty, you do what it takes, you have that sticktoitiveness.
  • You are savvy such that you can help with messaging to our customer base – you know the market best for our products
  • Product-focused – you understand the concept of a ‘product-oriented’ organization
  • Having some experience in software solutions for mapping, real estate, productivity or financial applications is a huge plus!
