Product Managers at MojoTech work closely with founders, entrepreneurs, designers, engineers, and clients to ensure the right product is defined, prioritized, and built.
Our Product Managers internalize our clients’ product vision and help them further refine and define it. They are responsible for managing the full software development lifecycle, working with the development team to prioritize, plan, and deliver software that exceeds our clients’ expectations.
Ideal senior-level candidates will have a proven track record as a product manager, having released successful web and mobile applications. Strong communication skills are a must as the successful Product Manager will need to align the needs and goals of both the technical and business participants on a project.
Responsibilities:
- Help our clients define their product strategy by performing market and business analysis.
- Validate assumptions by creating prototypes and other user tests required to get external feedback on product decisions.
- Break down higher level client goals and roadmaps into an actionable backlog of user stories.
- Identify, research, and mitigate product risks.
- Help clients understand our iterative development process and ensure we are shipping working software quickly through careful and deliberate prioritization.
- Help innovate and iterate on our software development processes.
- Manage project's day-to-day operations including sprint planning, retrospectives, stand-ups, etc.
- Track and report on budget and schedule internally and externally.
- Lead discovery engagements for clients that need further definition and learning before they can efficiently start to build their products.
Desired Skills & Experience:
- 5+ years of product management experience, especially with web and/or mobile products
- Skilled at defining and prioritizing product features
- Strong leadership and communication skills and the ability to teach others
- Ability to work collaboratively with engineers, designers, and clients and navigate complex decision-making
- Experience with agile / lean methodology
- Previous success working with an agile development team
- Excellent organizational and time management skills
- Background in engineering or design a plus
