We’re looking for a Product Manager to assist our product and marketing efforts as we launch a major upgrade for our dating product, pursue new product opportunities for the portfolio, and scale to millions of members in 2018. This position is perfect for the smart, creative, and persistent product person who thrives on the challenge of discovering and solving customer pain, and bringing effective solutions to market. You'll work directly with the Chief Product Officer to understand the high-level business objectives and then discover exciting opportunities for product for achieving them.

What you'll do:

  • Work with marketing, product, and finance stakeholders to understand business objectives and their intersection with product initiatives.

  • Work with the CPO on discovery, evaluation, and prioritization of potential product enhancements and entirely new product opportunities.

  • Work with design and engineering teams on the development and efficient delivery of innovative, beautiful, usable prototypes and new products.

  • Work with analysts and data scientists to answer important questions for the organization, and validate large-scale in-product experiments.

  • Work with support, analysts and quality assurance teams to understand the scope, severity, and frequency of issues in the product for prioritization.

  • Work with our amazing community—online, on video, in our office, around town, or even in their homes—to understand their needs, and capture the insights needed to build things they'll love.

What you’ll need:

  • A positive, creative, and curious attitude and the desire to join a fast-moving lean startup that invests heavily in the personal development of its people and its open, personal-connection-based culture.

  • A minimum of 2 years experience in B2C software working in Product Management on both the discovery and delivery sides, with familiarity and enthusiasm for agile product development processes.

  • A personal connection to an intentional lifestyle of health and wellness, personal growth, consciousness, and/or mindfulness.

  • An intimate understanding of the aspirational consumer who values spirituality, mindfulness, personal growth, and intentional living.

  • A familiarity with the social and online dating consumer software space, the big players, the products and their mechanics, and most importantly an intuitive understanding of the social and emotional context of why customers "hire" them.

  • An enthusiasm for a customer-facing role, representing MeetMindful as an empathetic interviewer and researcher, and organized, professional facilitator of group events and testing sessions.

  • Strong analysis skills with quantitative and qualitative data, comfortable manipulating data in Sheets/Excel to highlight insights, and ability to pick-up and learn product analytics tools like Mixpanel and Google Analytics.

  • A high personal standard for creating polished strategy, research, and reporting deliverables, designed to make a clear and strong case for recommendations, action items, and next steps.

  • Excellent verbal communication skills, a natural tendency to passionately represent the customer and frame the opportunities that will best serve them with reason and clarity.

  • Experience working with other stakeholders in product, design, engineering, customer support, marketing, and sales on prioritization of the product backlog, with empathy and understanding derived from experience balancing cross-departmental needs.

  • Experience working with the "makers" in design and engineering from generative ideation workshops through delivery, and ability to keep development priority organized toward meeting deadlines consistently.

  • Local to the greater Denver/Boulder area and able to work full-time from our office in downtown Denver.
