We are looking for an exceptional Product Manager with expertise in video streaming, operating systems, IOT device and/or embedded software solutions to work on expanding VIZIO software platform offerings. This position involves working with cross functional teams to ensure a first-class user experience with VIZIO products. This position is based in Denver, CO or Irvine, CA.
Responsibilities
- Perform detailed technical analysis of market trends to assist in overall roadmap development of VIZIO products.
- Perform competitive analysis and benchmark product performance against the rest of the industry and customer expectations.
- Conduct competitive and SWOT analysis across the TV market segment and identify concrete areas for product improvements.
- Define and manage key software features and KPIs based on market analysis.
- Collect quantitative metrics and qualitative research on customer usage behavior.
- Gather user research and performance metrics and translate them into clear and concise technical product requirements
- Collaborate with engineering, support, marketing and design teams, and effectively help coordinate releases of new features
Requirements
- 3+ years of Product Management, Engineering or Management Consulting experience
- Strong analytical ability and demonstrated data-driven decision-making skills
- Experience with consumer electronics products a plus
- Technical background is required. MBA a plus but not required.
- Must be detail oriented, organized, ethical, responsible, and self-motivated
- Must have strong verbal skills with consultative professional business acumen
- A proven record of analytical skills and ability to formulate and test hypothesis regarding user behavior
- Experience in Agile, SCRUM, JIRA and Confluence to guide product development process
- Experience in SQL, Tableau, PowerBI or other business intelligence software a plus
For Colorado-based employment: The minimum salary for this position is $89,713/year. The compensation package includes quarterly bonus in addition to a range of medical, dental, vision, financial and other benefits.
