What is this opportunity?

Product Manager - Mobile

We’re looking for an energetic, visionary, and pragmatic product leader for our candidate-facing native mobile apps to help us craft optimal user experiences to drive growth, engagement and loyalty across our candidate ecosystem. Understanding our vision, strategies and initiatives, you’ll work closely with stakeholders in capturing external and internal customer needs for the optimal definition, delivery, training and advocacy of best-in-class mobile solutions on iOS and Android for candidates.

As a strong communicator and multi-tasker, you’ll work in Agile fashion with technology, UX, marketing, analytics, product support and other product peers to translate the product vision to the user stories, sprints and marketing channels that make it a reality.  You’ll test and learn to see what’s working best, and track which tactics boost the value and experience we deliver for our candidates and customers (employers & recruiters).

·Own the creation of prioritized, actionable product roadmap and delivery of solutions in alignment with product and company needs and goals, focused on providing a best-in-class native mobile app experience for professionals.  For best results, you’ll also influence related product and marketing roadmaps to knit the mobile app experience nicely with web-based experiences and marketing tactics to support an optimal cross-device candidate experience overall

·Give equal support to iOS and Android mobile platforms, understanding the best practices for how to deliver similar features within each platform

·Work collaboratively with business stakeholders to obtain and refine business requirements

·Collaborate with UX/UI designers and Engineering to deliver a great experience for our candidates/users, and ensure optimal design of mobile solutions

·Ensure effective prioritization of day-to-day requests along with strategic roadmap work to achieve key results for the business. Ensure alignment and buy-in of product plans, strategies and objectives.  Positively influence stakeholders to ensure priorities are aligned. 

·Deliver frequent, incremental value against core roadmap and stakeholder requirements

·Utilize customer driven product management methodologies within an Agile environment.

·Actively participate in the Agile development process, including writing user stories, managing the product backlog, working with team to refine/elaborate/size stories for upcoming sprints, answer day-to-day questions, and contribute in standups, sprint planning and other Agile ceremonies for your product area

·Partner with Marketing, Sales, Product Support, Client Success and other Product peers to develop and execute release and go-to-market plans

·Facilitate the definition of new and refinement of existing product-related business processes

·Provide coaching, training and collaboration to users and stakeholders to ensure effective support and utilization of solution

·Work with UX, Product Marketing and Product Support to understand our target audience through market research, feedback, and competitive analysis. 

·        Define product and operational KPIs/dashboards, and interpret the analytics to gain insights, foresee and respond to changes to improve results. 

 

 

What are we requiring for this role?

·Experience in performing full lifecycle Product Management for iOS and Android mobile

·Demonstrated knowledge of successful product management/marketing strategies and practices, as well as business and financial acumen

·Expertise as an Agile Product Owner for tactical aspects within an overall Product Management role responsible for tactical and strategic.  Demonstrated proficiency in managing product backlog, prioritization of business needs, elaborating requirements and designing delightful user experiences for the mobile platform

·Technical background and knowledge of mobile application development

·Strong interpersonal skills, with ability to collaborate and communicate at all organizational levels, internally and externally

·Success working with cross functional stakeholder groups with a focus on collaboration and transparent communication

·Strong project management and organization skills, with the ability to seamlessly multi-task

·Ability to build buy-in and alignment, act with urgency, drive results and take educated risks

·Experience with marketing automation and analytics

·Proficiency with product backlog tools such as Jira, and office productivity and collaboration tools such as Confluence/SharePoint, PowerPoint, Excel, Outlook, Office365

·        

·Bachelor’s degree or equivalent in business, marketing or related field; MBA a plus, or a technical degree with significant business experience

·3-5 years of relevant digital product management experience, including 3+ years in a product leadership role, and 1+ years focused on native mobile apps

·Demonstrated ability to provide formal and informal training to internal stakeholder groups

·        Pragmatic Marketing (Product Management) certification a plus. Understanding of mobile analytics and how to quantify how releases are impacting results
