What you will be doing
You will develop and drive the product strategy and go to market of FIS’ Loanet solution suite which includes core Loanet (Full Service and Select Services) and its surrounding solution components incl. Loanet Finance Allocation (LFA), Fully Paid Lending (FPL), Seg Maintenance (Smart Seg) and Seg Optimization (S3), Regulatory Reserve Reporting (R3) to best position FIS Securities Finance for growth.
Responsibilities
Identify market trends for Securities Finance in North America, risks and growth areas and position the Loanet solution suite to benefit from those
Define future state vision and value proposition for the FIS Loanet solution suite with strong market orientation
Together with strategy and SF Group product management, improves target market definition/understanding for existing and new markets
Analyze market requirements and derive relevant requirements (business requirements, regulatory requirements and technical requirements)
Create and maintain a product roadmap and prioritize development initiatives
Drive the product developments in collaboration with the head of development, supervise execution of development initiatives
Develop business cases for key development initiatives, champion initiatives that have strong ROI and assess risks appropriately
Own the budget process for the development initiatives and development spent
Support sales organization and process with specific market/domain expertise and product knowledge
Provide guidance on messaging and product positioning (per segment)
Provide guidance for commercial offerings (maintain price books)
Evangelize vision and strategy of the Loanet solution suite in selected sales cases
Provide trainings on value proposition, positioning, differentiators, and pricing of solution components for sales force (pre-sales, sales)
Engage and interact with clients
Coordinates and facilitates pilot activities acting as primary contact with client, securing pilot agreement and monitoring progress. Determines success criteria and recommends “go / no go” decision.
Acts as escalation point for client issues that require product change resolution (does not include standard problem escalation process).
Practices open and honest communications with clients during feedback sessions, focus groups, user groups and requirements gathering sessions.
Provides presentations to clients during business reviews, prospect briefings and internal group meetings.
Presents FIS Loanet vision and strategy together with product information and industry thought leadership to external audiences in webinars and client conferences.
What you bring:
At least 8 years of experience in product management, design and/or development of software products and services for the Capital Markets domain with strong track record of progressive experience and responsibility.
Specific experience in the Securities Finance domain /Securities Lending & Borrowing and Collateral Management
Bachelor’s degree required, MBA a plus
Acumen in business, technology, and analytical capabilities
Extensive experience with product management principles and methodologies; experience in software development lifecycle, release management and change management
Familiarity and experience with regulatory requirements of Securities Finance and Collateral industry
