About the team

This role would be part of the Enterprise Product Office with a disruptive mandate to drive growth in the organization by steering capital to create new opportunities, products, revenue streams and enter new markets. 

The experience that you will bring  

  • Preferred 10+ years of Product Manager or equivalent experience in the banking industry (Digital Products).

  • You will have a strong background working with configuration and authoring tools and understand their role in driving client flexibility, automation, system reliability and simplicity through effective design principals.

  • You will understand software deployment and how configuration is managed and deployed in multiple delivery models including multi-tenant cloud applications and hosted dedicated instances.

  • You will have an unmatched ability to ‘partner’ and navigate large organization rally teams based on your impact and influence skills.

  • Thorough knowledge of FIS products supported required.

  • Excellent skills in communicating ideas both verbally and in written form in a clear, concise and professional manner.

  • Ability to utilize judgment in decision making process and decisions related to job tasks

  • Ability to communicate effectively with all levels of management in an organized, professional manner

What you will be doing

As a Product Manager II with primary focus on the Digital One enterprise configuration and authoring tool you will have the ability to make a major impact across multiple FIS solutions for both internal and external clients.  This internal and external facing strategic asset will be leveraged across implementations and will enable automation efforts across an ever growing set of banking solutions. 

The Product Manager responsible for Digital One will have the ability to make a major impact in the time to market, cost of delivering services to clients and will represent a key driver in overall client satisfaction.   You will manage life cycle product planning activities and high-quality delivery of FIS new products releases to market. You will define product roadmap to meet market requirements in support of product line strategy by considering position in life cycle, market position, product profitability, pricing strategies, client satisfaction, and sales success rate.

  • Manages product plan by ensuring changes in market and business priorities including integration needs and technology advancements are reflected. Presents status updates at quarterly and annual stakeholder meetings.

  • Demonstrates leadership by establishing and articulating a clear vision of success and how goals and objectives will be achieved.

  • Prepares and presents product plans. Identifies risks and challenges, opportunities and growth strategies, business integration needs and retirement plans.

  • Prepares and presents product roadmap reviews as well as providing product’s general strategic direction.

  • Manages project inventory during budget planning process, interlocks on all companion activity and prioritizes as necessary to execute against plan throughout the year. Determines release dates.

  • Provides content for product roadmaps, ensures timely delivery and provides business reasons for any changes/revisions made to roadmaps.

  • Acts as product launch manager when appropriate for new products or rollouts of major releases.

  • Collaborates with senior management to provide content for market messages, sales collateral and as needed RFPs (request for proposal).

  • Completes business scope documents and defines and documents user personas for individual products.

  • Manages vendor relationships key to product delivery.
