Product Manager – Alteryx Designer

We're looking for a Product Manager to lead the strategy and execution of our core product, Alteryx Designer. The Designer allows analysts and data scientists alike to prep, blend and analyze their data and build analytics apps, dashboards and models to share with others. A successful Product Manager of Alteryx Designer will define the product’s strategy and roadmap, will work with engineering to define release schedules and will be the face of the product for both internal and external stakeholders.
 
Responsibilities

• Define the product requirements to maintain and improve our position as a leader in the space
• Build relationships with customers to gather feedback for determining the right features for bringing the highest value to market
• Work closely with engineering to manage new feature priorities while balancing technical stability and maintaining high quality
• Own the successful delivery of new releases for Designer, through initiative ideation, development, beta and launch
• Evangelize the value of our core product to both internal stakeholders and externally to prospective and existing customers at events
• Work closely with PM leadership on how Designer strategy impacts the entire platform
• Monitors and manages successful delivery of features defined in the product roadmap with respective teams throughout the development life cycle; works to identify risks and remove impediments; discovers opportunities for improvement and keeps senior management and others informed

 
Requirements

• 3+ years proven software/application Product Management particularly in the data and analytics space
• Bachelor’s Degree in technical field (science, computer science, data & databases, etc.) preferred
• Technical background; strong experience with BI, DB or Data Products
• Project management skills; problem solving skills; strategic thinking and business acumen
• Effective documentation skills with ability to articulate technical information
• Excellent teamwork skills, ability to manage, interpret and influence cross functional teams
• Experience working with Alteryx a strong plus
