About This Role

This is a hybrid role between a Product Owner in the agile sense, and a Product Manager in the traditional sense - with equal emphasis. This role is responsible for the 1 year product roadmap and execution of the entire product lifecycle including: new product development, existing product optimization, and product sunsetting, while delivering through the Agile or Scrum software development lifecycle. As the Product Owner on the Data Warehouse agile team, the candidate is expected to demonstrate technical competency while representing the voice of the team, the business, and the customer in backlog prioritization, roadmap, and team discussions. The candidate is ultimately accountable for writing and prioritizing user stories for the agile team that deliver on the product vision. The candidate is also responsible for release and feature definition, as well as with marketing on launch (or sunset), and consistently uses data to close the feedback loop of release hypothesis against market outcomes to better inform the strategy and roadmap.

Our Data Warehouse is a dynamic product area that supports a myriad of customer needs and complex downstream products. Specifically, we are seeking an individual who is a leader and team-player comfortable with uncertainty, change, and figuring things out. The product area is also quite technical, so we need someone who can speak tech and jive with developers (be ready to explain what ETL is during the interview process). Everyone on our team is an individual contributor, so be ready to roll up your sleeves and get things done.
