This is an exciting opportunity to help build data and analytics products that will drive the data culture within our web organization. We’re looking for a Product Manager who is passionate about using data to solve customer problems and can drive cross-functional teams of senior leaders and individual contributors throughout the organization.

The Product Manager will own defining, prioritizing, and developing business intelligence (BI) products that ensure effective and actionable reporting through data and analytics platforms supporting Healthgrades website products. They will partner with the Business Intelligence team, business stakeholders, and internal and external customers to accelerate the self-service delivery of insights from Healthgrades data.

What you will do:

  • Build and manage the vision, strategy, and roadmap of analytics use cases, delivering high impact reporting solutions that leverage Tableau to answer key business questions
  • Work with customers, business owners, and product leaders to identify priorities and deliver BI products that successfully meet the goals of the business
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams including sales, marketing, engineering, other product and UI and UX design teams to drive solution definition and successfully execute on the roadmap
  • Communicate a deep understanding of the customer, the problem, and the solution with clear line of sight back to the business objectives
  • Translate the product strategy and vision into clearly articulated end-to-end use cases and user stories
  • Review user stories, participate in grooming sessions, manage backlog, and communicate and clarify feature requirements and acceptance criteria to development team
  • Collaborate with stakeholders and the BI team to develop ensure business metrics are consistent and intuitive to internal and external users

Desired skills and experience:

  • 2-3 years of relevant product management experience; focus on software products, data or analytics preferred
  • Product owner experience with Jira, Adobe Analytics, or similar tools in an Agile or Kanban environment
  • Technical knowledge of data systems and visualization tools, such as SQL and Tableau, that will enable you to influence and understand BI solutions
  • Strong communication skills, both with technical and non-technical audiences
  • Ability to tell stories with data, educate and motivate stakeholders to act on recommendations
  • Ability to translate ideas and customer input into creative products and solutions
  • Excellent critical thinking, problem-solving, organizational and analytical skills, with the ability to evolve product strategy based on research, data and industry trends
  • Bias toward action and know how to balance getting details right while still moving fast
  • Ability to innovate and define creative solutions with compelling user experiences that exceed customer expectations
  • Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience

Compensation & Benefits

  • Salary: $63,000 - $100,000 annually*
  • Bonus: up to 5% annually
