About the Core Services Team
The Core Services team creates and manages the backbone of common services that power our incredible customer experiences. Whether it's user management, universal search, or a notification center experience - if it's used by multiple applications, the Core Services team is involved.
About The Role
As a Product Manager, Core Services, you'll be responsible for leading the vision, strategy, and execution of the Core Services roadmap at Emerge. This experienced Product Manager will be responsible for the products, tooling, and platforms that support our globally distributed applications.
Candidates in the Scottsdale or Denver metro areas preferred with hybrid WFH, open to 100% remote
Your Responsibilities

  • Define and execute on a robust product vision and roadmap for Emerge's Core Services team.
  • Prioritize work based on inputs from many stakeholders, while being flexible to iterate/change.
  • Define goals and success with clearly measurable objectives and key results by partnering with other cross-functional leaders in Product Marketing and Product Leadership.
  • Communicate concisely and influence outcomes.
  • Maintain product backlog and the product roadmap. Own prioritization process of product solutions based on business value and customer impact.
  • Coordinate and lead a cross-functional working group of Engineers' & Designers' agile ceremonies to ensure alignment on vision and strategy.
  • Evaluate new product opportunities and bring forward proposals through exhaustive data analysis and research.
  • Present your product roadmap and status to Product Leadership on an ongoing basis.
  • Collaborate with Engineering to understand technical product requirements and ensure quality delivery of work.


Requirements
What We Expect

  • 3+ years of Product Management experience, preferably B2B SaaS.
  • Strong understanding of the Transportation industry (Shippers, Carriers, Brokers, etc.).
  • Able to curate and build on the ideas of others in pursuit of the best solution.
  • Big thinking. Should be able to help a small team achieve goals out of their comfort zone.
  • Ability to quickly absorb technical concepts and effectively communicate with technical and non-technical partners.
  • Experience working with common product tools (such as Jira, Gitlab, Heap, and more).
  • Experience working with databases to query data using SQL.
