Job Description

 

We are looking for a bright, energetic and ambitious Product Manager with strong interests and capabilities in software integration and technical design. The right person for this role will be responsible for defining and prioritizing the technical stories in the product backlog and work closely with our functional product owners and technology team to deliver highly integrated, robust and scalable services.  The Product Manager champions the internal and external customer experience through integration strategy, API definition and delivering on key integration partner initiatives. This position will include a competitive salary and benefits, and may be eligible to earn stock options based on individual contribution and company performance.

 

Responsibilities:

  • Partner with peer product managers to define product strategy, with a near-term focus on helping to define and manage our integration strategy

  • Technical assessments of third party vendors capability and integration requirements

  • Understanding and mastery of the platform architecture

  • Lead and define all the definitions required in the implementation of APIs

  • Lead the technology discussions with third party partners regarding the OrthoFi platform, in terms of functionality and integration agreements.

  • Defining and prioritizing a backlog of technology work

  • Work closely with other product managers to manage product roadmaps, requirements, release schedules, training and support.

 

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s Degree in Engineering, Computer Science, or Information Technology.  An equivalent combination of education and work experience may be taken into consideration in lieu of a degree.

  • 3+ years of related experience working with client facing applications, SaaS, architecture design, and integration strategy in the software/healthcare industry

  • Proficient in multiple integration methods (REST, SOAP, EDI, etc...)

  • Have several years of experience working in a highly agile (Kanban, Scrum, XP) environment

  • Highly collaborative

  • Strong work ethic, embraces challenges

  • Sense of humor

 

Preferred Requirements

  • Experience with integration of 3rd party systems

  • Background in products that focus on the healthcare or related industry; CRM and Marketing Automation experience also desired

  • Master’s degree in Business, Computer Science, Healthcare Administration or Engineering is preferred
