As Product Manager of Server, this person will be directly responsible for building the vision and road map around the Alteryx Server. This person will work with enterprise level customers as well as internal stakeholders and development teams to implement new features and exciting upgrades to the Alteryx Server.

Position Details:

• Manages the strategy, roadmap and maintenance backlog for the Alteryx Server product
• Works with enterprise customers on feedback, enablement, road map sessions and issue resolution around the Alteryx Server
• Works closely with PM leadership on how product area strategy impacts entire portfolio/platform
• Manages multiple projects and tasks simultaneously while meeting and maintaining reasonable timelines
• Works closely with stakeholders inside and outside of the company, including prospects, customers, development teams, marketing, sales and products to develop the roadmap and strategy around the product area
• Manages feature and function requirements and design documents, collaborating with development teams, design teams and other members of the products and marketing organization to deliver Business Requirements Documents and feature specifications
• Balances cost/benefit and time-to-market trade-offs based on development/design feedback
• Monitors and manages successful delivery of features defined in the product roadmap with respective teams throughout the development life cycle; works to identify risks and remove impediments; discovers opportunities for improvement and keeps senior management and others informed
• Actively contributes to sales positioning and go-to-market plans and execution for assigned product area
• Communicates internally and externally with others in an open, honest and respectful way, leads by example

Qualifications:

• 3+ years of Product Management or equivalent experience in the enterprise software industry
• Experience working directly with customers ans customer support on product feedback, troubleshooting, or implementation
• Technical background; strong experience with scaled enterprise level software
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills
• Project management skills; problem solving skills; strategic thinking and business acumen
• Effective documentation skills with ability to articulate technical information
• Excellent teamwork skills, ability to manage, interpret and influence cross functional teams
