Position: Product Manager, Licensing and Installation
Location: Broomfield, CO

Position Details:

  • Manages the strategy for the licensing, download, and installation experience of current, present, and future Alteryx products
  • Works cross-functionally with key groups in business systems to execute product features
  • Works closely with PM leadership on how product area strategy impacts entire portfolio/platform
  • Manages multiple projects and tasks simultaneously while meeting and maintaining reasonable timelines
  • Works closely with stakeholders inside and outside of the company, including prospects, customers, development teams, marketing, sales and products to develop the roadmap and strategy around the product area
  • Manages feature and function requirements and design documents, collaborating with development teams, design teams and other members of the products and marketing organization to deliver Business Requirements Documents and feature specifications
  • Balances cost/benefit and time-to-market trade-offs based on development/design feedback
  • Monitors and manages successful delivery of features defined in the product roadmap with respective teams throughout the development life cycle; works to identify risks and remove impediments; discovers opportunities for improvement and keeps senior management and others informed
  • Educates customers and internal support teams on product features through various channels including direct communication, webinars and live events and sessions
  • Actively contributes to sales positioning and go-to-market plans and execution for assigned product area
  • Communicates internally and externally with others in an open, honest and respectful way, leads by example
  • Works to manage requirements for implementation via the Flexera licensing system

Qualifications:

  • 3+ years of Product Management or equivalent experience in the enterprise software industry
  • Demonstrated success defining and launching exciting software products
  • Technical background; strong experience with BI, DB or Data products
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • Project management skills; problem solving skills; strategic thinking and business acumen
  • Effective documentation skills with ability to articulate technical information
  • Excellent teamwork skills, ability to manage, interpret and influence cross functional teams
